You misunderstand. Of course some things that are out of our control, we have a God to take care of all that. Although, some people are grown up to have illogical mindsets(i.e. atheists) who question why God even exists. Well the answer is there - to take care of things we can't, as well as other of course. Anyways my friend, I wanted to make the point that other then God, there are other things that are responsible for everything that goes on in our World. There are governments, societies and cultures of a country. U_U In all honesty, Western culture in particular has spread throughout the World. Maybe not in it's entirety but some of it. But now has anyone thought about whether there is any thing wrong with that. I could elaborate if you want but maybe you get the point. :yeah:

What has happened on this earth that us as humans couldn't take care of that god took care of for us? The OP isn't blaming God (I don't think), he's just wondering why he didn't put a stop to something which is clearly Evil.

Why would God do that?

We've tried, in our limited capacity, to exercise the same mindset/principle as it applies to issues like housing, food, etc.

"Why would a good government let people go homeless? They should divert money to pay for housing."

"Why would a good government let people starve? They should divert money to pay for food."

The resulting decay of our society and the impending economic collapse that will throw much of the world into a dark age comparable to the collapse of Rome will tell you exactly why God hasn't acted with such lack of foresight.

At what point do we begin to take responsibility for our own lives, if God is always protecting us from harm? Where should he draw the line? Should I be protected from harm if I'm a young child with parents who don't pay attention to me... and I start climbing around on a stove with hot elements?

Would I magically not be hurt? How am I supposed to know that fire=hot=pain=undesirable=do-not-touch? Should I be able to do the same, years later, and not be hurt?

It's a can of worms that God never opened.

I mean think about it, I believe in Good and Evil which clearly exist in our World right. So if life is like a test it would make sense. :yeah:

Think of it like an examination, right. Maybe I shouldn't say this but let's say God is like a Teacher. Mankind are like students. They have learn about the Good things in life as well as the Bad things in life. Then they begin to take a test. Obviously, Teacher is not going to give them answers and this is just like God giving people everything on the plate, right? But what God will do is help the people in some way by giving them signs. Similarly, the Teacher would help out the students for their test but only so much. When people die, think of it as their examination has ended. And then people will be given their results depending on how they did, they will be happy or unhappy.

This is why I believe in God, believe in Good and Bad and I also believe in Heaven and Hell. All of this is logical, don't you think. :O I believe in the monotheistic doctrine by the way. *_*

I was leaving my friends house once (He lived in a building) so as I was leaving the elevator me and a few other bystanders saw 3 men running inside one of the men is on the floor bloody begging for his life and one of the men shot him. And to add insult to injury they shot him again multiple times after.

I see, it is indeed a cruel world we're living. What you saw was tragic and unfortunate. U_U God takes your life however he wills I guess. The least we can do is be grateful for being alive and well though, don't you think? I mean think about some people who are either born disabled, some handicapped, some with deficiencies and some with medical problems and other abnormalities. All of this makes you wonder, and allows you to feel more sincere and good inside. Just remember friend, It's better to know about something good and then try to act upon it than to ignore and forget about it and to continue living in a state of error and delusion.
