Rejected by the Hōgyoku or did he actually wish to lose all of his powers?

But why would the Hōgyoku reject Aizen? And even if it did, it wouldn't take away his own Zanpaktou away from him would it? It wouldn't take away his original Shinigami powers, how so?

Or did the Hōgyoku finally get to the bottom of Aizen's heart and truly understood what he wanted, to be just an ordinary Shinigami?

hmmmmmm the reason the hogyoku rejected him was because he was weakened by ichigo
I don't see that as a possible reason as when he was on the brink of death when Gin released his Bankai on him, The Hogyoku healed him and made him evolve further.

As you probably saw, Aizen's wounds healed after he was hit with Mugetsu and he believed he was further evolving by fusing with his Zanpaktou's powers and that could have happened. In short that's nothing the Hogyoku can't deal with.

I'm sorry to say, your argument is flawed.

Kind of yet no

It saw the loneliness at the core of his being that wanted to be like everyone else and not alone. Because it was impossible to find an equal or at least a large number of equals...the only remaining option was to go down.

As such, by being the master of the Hogyoku, his wish was basically to not have it, and thus it rejected him on his desire to be weaker (like everyone else). Combine this with Ichigo's attack and Urahara's placed trap and there you go.

A very good valid response. However, if this was the case then why did the Hogyoku reject him at that moment when he had been severely battered by Mugetsu and not long before? Urahara was the one who said that Aizen had been rejected and he has supreme knowledge of the Hogyoku above anyone else. Yet Ichigo was reluctant to believe that the Hogyoku actually really did "Reject" him and this even made Urahara doubtful.

I truly think it's impossible to know.

it didn't take away his zanpaktou powers, because he managed to confuse juha . .he still has shinigami powers,
that pic. suggests aizen was looking for someone who can stand against him, it also means he had a pride that no one would ever be able to defeat him or surpass him. .but ichigo made him realise that their is still higher form than and aizen had no clue about that . .that was the first time he acknowledged that ichigo was clearly above his level . .and hogyoku reacted in accordance with aizen's state of mind. .

Because he managed to alter Bach's perception of time that doesn't necessarily mean that he used his Shinigami powers or that he still has them. Now even though Aizen became aware that Ichigo was on a higher level than himself, he stated that the Hogyoku wouldn't allow him to be lower than a "mere human" and this lead onto Aizen's final transformation into his Hollow state. The Hogyoku initially had no intention of having Aizen defeated by someone who he saw insignificant far beyond that of even a Shinigami, I don't see why the Hogyoku would suddenly give up on this ideal. Like I said, Aizen appeared to be evolving even further I'm sure the Hogyoku could have made that happen to get Aizen on an even higher level.

Another flawed argument...

hogyoku manifests the desire of the user. .aizen desired to surpass both shinigami n hollows and become transcended being. .which he did. .and when later when ichigo showed his FGT form aizen realised there is still room for progress. .but he instantly denied it saying no human could surpass him. .may be in actual he did not deny he was probably trying to convince himself that there is no one who could surpass him
