There was no great feat from naruto's SM from blind spot either.
SM enhances all abilities and all perception hence it does enhance eyes aswell and makes it sort of sharingan.
On the other hand i can show a scan where sasuke dodges an attack from blind spot and close range.

Naruto sensed the juubis tail where as kakashi didn't see it. even though they were falling from the same height and naruto did not turn around.

Good find, but they both were in free fall. Speed is a factor here and we dont know how fast the tail was. It is much harder to sense high speed attack.

All i think is that i dont find SM sensing viable for high speed attacks from blind spots, naruto's eyes did benefit from it when vs raikage and eyes are the major perception human body has.
Obito has managed to kill a jonin from blind spot after awakened sharingan, through out the mange he dodged and countered countless attacks like this.
Sasuke managed to save karin and guard himself from mei's lava jutsu, again from blind spot.
Madara has sensing abilities, itachi deflected sasuke's shurikens from blind spot too.
While they dont have true sensing ability they seems to have sort of 360º vision like neji.

SM only enhances abilities one has, while being in sync with nature one is also able to sense shit.
Naruto never had sensing ability to begin with.
Let look at kabuto, he has snake sensing ability trough temperature and smell as well as abilities of juugo and karin all of it enhanced by SM. It ok for him to dodge arrow.
Sharingan for instance can track the arrow but kakashi's body wasnt fast enough.

SM: can sense chakra (short/medium/long range all around) and sense/predict danger too.
Sharingan (MS/EMS): can see chakra and predict movement but only on line of vision.
it is this simple. they are different.

Naruto and Third Raikage were running full speed against each other whereas sasuke and Ay just jumped towards each other from a litte distance so..
Sage sensing because:
1- Sharingan precognition has showns limits when Sage sensing didn't(helped Naruto to dodge Raikage's attack at the last second when Kabuto could even dodge high speed arrows)
2- Sharingan only covers the field of vision when Sage sensing covers an entire battlefield whether the user sees an attack or not
