Do you remember back when Rayleigh fought Kizaru? At one point Kizaru tried to move past him to attack the SH crew but was stopped by Rayleigh. The fight was a pun/reference to the phenomenon "Rayleigh scattering":

It seems that Oda has done something similar with the Green Bit fight.
Fujitora summoned a meteor and it was partly stopped by Law and Donquixote Doflamingo. This could be a pun/reference to the actual spacecraft "Don Quijote" whose objective is researching "asteroid defelction strategies":
