Kankuro? I don't think so. Kakuzu with his black heart creatures would be able to destroy kankuru's puppets, proceding on defeating kankuru himself. Those monster have a lot of power, and kakuzu with one heart is not weak. Kankuru is a bad opponent for kakuzu, I think.

Kakazu would send out 2 hearts and watch as Kankuro gets hunted down and raped.
Kakazu was sent too assassinate Hashirama, although he failed, 50+ years later he's still fighting, he'd make Kankuro look like fodder ( because he is )

Kakuzu has an un-breakable defence and Five Basic Transformations. He was fighting Team 10, Kakashi and Naruto before succumbing to his defeat and essentially has Five Lives. Kankūro has nothing special - masterful puppeteer, yes but only someone along the lines of Sasori can even compete with Kakuzu to any extent. The weakest character that Kakuzu would be defeated by is Kisame and he is Top 10/15 depending on who you are. I say Top 10. So no way, Kakuzu is way stronger than Kankūro.
