To balance the thread. I originally thought of non-sage mode Jiraiya but then the instant summoning of Gamabunta ends the match prematurely, so I wanted to make it more intereting.

Also, surprised you managed to make a post without mentioning Sakura. Congrats.

doesnt matter gaara quick sand works in the same way if not better the swamp isnt even catching him let alone sinking him

I believe Jiraiya needs Ma & Pa to go into Sage Mode right? So yeah, no sage mode. Still- he has fire style, rasengan, odama rasengan, those hair jutsu, plus all that experience. He survived Hanzo without using his toads so he's still pretty capable. Don't count him out just yet.
