I laugh everytime when someone says something about a databook ie ( ..... would beat ...... because the handseals are a four and theirs are a 1) databook stats mean nothing in real combat even if someone completely outranks someone in the databook it doesn't mean they will win it all comes down to combat pairings. naruto beat neji even though neji outranks naruto in every single databook

the Db stats are sometimes useful and portrays the capabilities of a character.

Naruto beat neji because of kurama the strongest bijuu.

it's about matching abilities. some abilities are better against some than others the databook stats are to basic to be used properly when comparing characters

Ok Ok no its not b/c u didn't look at the possibility of how they won. Choji won b/c he used some pills from his clan that enhanced his abilities and Shikamaru won b/c of his intelligence and he tricked Hidan that he was dead once he let his guard down and set those traps from the start. So.....

The only way is for Kishi put up the 4th databook and my guess is that it'll be put up at the close end of Part 2 like Part 1

Oh right, so it's better to use your biased imagination, and create your own picture of what would happened if two shinobi fought, than use the information Kishi show about the skills of each character???
PD: In "Sakura vs Choji" thread i never said that she would win because of her hand seals stats.... I said that i think she would because she is smarter and faster (taking the databook away i don't this is so hard to figure out), so, since this would be a one-hit-KO fight (for both sides), i guess she has the advantage...

ok wasn't talking about you so don't get so butt hurt i was using general examples i've found in narutobase over the years. my point is in naruto their are other factors which affect fights like choji using the pills and shikamaru out smarting hidan and others like it plus the databooks are outdated and even if their was a new one it isn't the be all and end all.

V1 do you mean the first databook?

narutos score in the first was 14.5 to nejis 21
second data book was 18.5 to nejis 25
third was 26 to nejis 27

OK, you can imagine all the fights that you like in your head, still you will not be the author, it is not up to you who is stronger, Kishi is, and the only thing he gave us to asses how powerful is each character, is the manga and the databooks, so if cannot find your answers in the manga, the databook is the second place to go...

You've been on here for what a month i joined november last year and was on here as a guest long before that i've seen dozens of times when this has happened if i was talking about a specific time i would have mentioned the thread. I'm sorry if you find this as a personal attack it was not meant like that this was just a general thread.

You've been on here for what a month i joined november last year and was on here as a guest long before that i've seen dozens of times when this has happened if i was talking about a specific time i would have mentioned the thread. I'm sorry if you find this as a personal attack it was not meant like that this was just a general thread.

Not at all, the only thing that i found as a personal attack was the butt hurt thing... and i already told you about that.
What i said about the other thread was because, three hours later discussing with you in that VS thread, i defended my point with the 3rd databook, and then you create this thread, so maybe i thought there was a link between those things.

oh ok yea sorry saying butt hurt is a habit i've got into. to be honest that was one of the least stupid times i've seen databooks used.
