Why does obito have the appearance of the SOSP?

The more obito learns to use his powers, the more his appearance changes making him look very similar to the SOSP. Although the SOSP was once the jinjuriki of the jubbi I still don't see the connection between SOSP and obito which gives them a similar appearance, as well as obito obtaining a new weapon/staff which may have belonged to the SOSP. In the manga we see the SOSP fighting the juubi and in that fight we can see some of his features haircut/horns/ carrying a similar weapon to obito and sharingan tomoe symbols across his chest again similar to obitos. What do you think the connection is or are these just characteristics past on from the juubi?

this is kinda a dumb question....and I don't say that often on this forum

and for the record, just because we seen a image or quck clip of the sage in front of the juubi, doesn mean he was fighting the juubi. as you can see, obito got the staff after controlling the juubi powers. so we can assume the sage was the same. I think that image of the sage in front of the juubi is just the sage standing there basically like BEHOLD MY POWER. You know how when someone may look aty naruto they see minato and the see kushina, well I think that image Is the same. I don't believe the sage got that staff and appearance until after becoming jin.

The staff isn't a real one, Obito manipulated the Juubi's chakra to form it. As for the appearance, I'm guessing you have to gain control over the Juubi first to look like the Sage did.

I think the Sage got the markings while he was the jinchuuriki of the juubi, therefore Obito'll get it too as he learns how to control it

you do not know that, there Is no manga prove to say that is true. but the prove we do have, is that one gets that appearance AFTER becoming the jin,

from the latest it's pretty much clear that so6p looks mostly derived from juubi's chakra. .dat staff and yagatama and stuff all are the result of being jinchuriki of juubi. .we hav seen similar changes in naruto in KCM. .which means the influence of TB's chakra causes the change in appearance of jinchuriki's. .
