He may be strong, but the best way to defend against my counter involves stopping the jutsu that he, himself, is currently using. But, will he...?

It appears as though the update of this technique is confusing a lot of people, even myself at times when I teach it. In theory, it wouldn't be possible for you to currently counter this technique because you are not an animal nor a summon. As for Saki being unable to move, it was simply down by an unknown force for a dramatic effect. I did not use that technique on him, because I am unable to. I simply wanted to leave you on your own. For a future reference, you need to defend your summon instead of yourself, seeing as thats who the main target would be.

In short, this technique can only be used against animals or common/small summons, not humans/ninjas.

Mathias' Liger falls to the ground as it's limbs are struck.

You wouldn't be able to apply nature manipulation to this technique. As far as wind combination goes, due to the rank of this technique, the needles would disperse by your own wind technique if you used one. However, if you used metallic physical needles that would be a different story.

I want you to lure my clone to the sakura forest (a random forest I made up that has cherry blossom trees) you will then continue by focusing your chakra outwards towards the leaves of the trees, manipulating each individual one, causing them to swirl around my clone, effectively confusing him and blocking his vision.

*Urasan quickly grabs six shuriken and flings them at sensei's clone whilst Saki gives him the middle finger with both hands. Immediately after, the brothers hastily make their way over to a forest (with Saki shifting his head onto Urasan's back to keep lookout) and proceed to position themselves in the vicinity of several cherry blossom trees. Within just a few seconds, the brothers find themselves once again in the company of sensei's clone and upon him closing in on them, Urasan releases his chakra towards the leaves/petals on the trees around him. With focus distributed equally to each leaf/petal, Urasan then manipulates them all to swirl around sensei's clone, which then proceed to temporarily blind him.*

Urasan: Let's finish this. Saki, I'm gonna trip him up and give you a chance to crush him!

*After making the tiger-seal and kneading some chakra, Urasan then quickly releases it into the ground. As the chakra moves towards the area around sensei's blind/disorientated clone, the ground around him quickly begins to become progressively more muddy before pushing him away with some force and knocking him off balance.*

Don't get cocky, boy.

OOC: Well the petals can't be created out of thin air unless they are chakra-made. Which is what I was attempting to find out with the RP mods last month. Since I have been unable to get a clear answer on the usage of this technique in our RP, you will have to utilize it by manipulating pre-existing flower petals. Also, we will now be doing two-three techniques to make up for some loss time. However I will still expect the templates to be filled as well as detailed descriptions. Sometimes multiple techniques per posts puts some sort of pressure to reply with haste and thus, reduces the quality of each reply.

(Sakura Fubuki no Jutsu) - Cherry Blossom Snow Storm Technique

Description: The user will hurl kunai with pouches attached at their target. Upon impact, the pouches explode, releasing small explosive notes. It will begin to burn, and by igniting the falling smaller notes it will cause a gigantic explosion.

I want you to grab of a hold of these six pouches I will be giving you. Although, be very careful because they contain several small explosive tags within each individual one. I want you to attach each pouch and an individual kunai. You will then proceed to throw it towards that wooden dummy to your six o'clock, aiming for a desired body part. Upon contact with the pouches should "explode" releasing all the small notes, causing them to rain down. Without any pause after releasing the pouch'd kunais, I want you to release a tagged kunai with a burning tag towards the location of your small raining tags, causing a chain explosion to occur, severely injuring your target should it succeed.

(Utsusemi no Jutsu) - Empty Cicada Shell Technique

Description: Forming the needed hand seal Ram, a shinobi can project his voice to a different area to hide their location and the number of allies at their side. It is an excellent complement to stealth tactics.

This is quite a fun technique once you find a use for it. I want you to perform the ram hand seal whilst focusing your chakra around your throat and lungs. You will then continue by saying anything you'd like. HOWEVER, before actually releasing your words, I want you to coat the air you release to make the sound-waves of your voice. As you coat your own voice you will drown out the sound momentarily. I want you to manipulate it elsewhere by moving the chakra itself, causing the sound to be released once you un-do the chakra coating from it. This is a very stealthy technique if used correctly.

(Muon Satsujin Jutsu) - Silent Homicide Technique

Description: Muon Satsujin Jutsu, the ability to commit a silent homicide, is a technique to dispatch your foe with no warning. Your quick speed and skills will instantly kill them before they can provide a defense.
Tactic:Best used with Hidden Mist jutsu.

This next technique could go quite well with the technique you've just learned in terms of combinations. Now, this technique is a bit tricky and vague. People usually tend to abuse it because of its description. HOWEVER do not let it fool you.. this technique doesn't allow you to instantly kill someone without them being able to provide a defense.

Now, this technique is usually used in the hidden mist jutsu because the user utilizes the mist to conceal his visual presence. Without the mist, I want you to hide yourself by any means necessary temporarily. You will then proceed to silently withdraw a chosen weapon from your arsenal as you focus chakra onto your feet staying very quiet with each step although increasing your speed as well. You will then proceed to flank your target (come from behind) dealing a fast strike on your desired spot.

Urasan: Hmph, just give us a moment to prepare the kunai, sensei. I'll take a few of those pouches and so will Saki.

*Urasan walks towards Mathis-sensei and grabs all six pouches that he was just told about. With a casual toss, three of the pouches are thrown behind Urasan and fall into Saki's awaiting hands. With the pouches distributed, the brothers then remove three kunai each from Urasan's personal tool pouch and proceed to attach each of the six pouches to a respective kunai. Once they are both ready, Saki deftly throws each kunai towards the wooden dummy found in front of him whilst aiming for its abdominal section. Just as soon as that is done, Urasan makes a quick 180 degree spin and throws his own kunai and then follows it up (an extended moment later) with a single kunai wrapped in an explosive tag. As each kunai pierces the wooden dummy, they individually burst into a shower of explosive notes (all around the dummy) and then explode in a chain initiated by the sole explosive kunai. In a brief but splendid moment, the wooden dummy and the area in its vicinity are reduced to mere ash, with small flames scattered about the now scorched earth .*

Saki: Hmmm, what's next?
Urasan: Well, why don't we change it up a bit and do the Silent Homicide Technique next?

*Concluding his words, Urasan rushes off into a thicket of large trees whilst Saki keeps an eye on sensei. Once out of sight, Urasan whispers to Saki that it is time to split up and try to confuse the enemy by attacking sensei from different directions whilst also projecting their voices from assorted locations. With that in mind, the brothers move around the grassy opening in such a roundabout way as to make a ninety degree angle from their last positioning, though Urasan does so to the right and Saki to the left. Once safely crouching from their new locations, the brothers then make the Ram hand-seal and knead chakra into their throats and lungs before saying the words: "come and get us, sensei" and "what will you do?". Of course, before the words can be heard... The brothers coat the air they release as they speak, using with their chakra, and then shift the coated air back towards the location they had decided to split up at. As the air reaches the desired location, Urasan and Saki then undo the coated air and allow the sound-waves to resound throughout the immediate vicinity. To further confound sensei, Saki begins to whistle and slowly move further away whilst Urasan unsheathes his chokutō and prepares to assault sensei from his exposed backside. In order to safely approach sensei, Urasan coats the soles of his feet with chakra and attempts to make as little noise as possible... With each subtle step he takes, Urasan increases his speed until he finds himself aiming a quick, horizontal cut at Mathias with the intention of completely butchering his hair.

Urasan: What'd you think of your new haircut, is it a cut above what you're used too?
Saki: Oi, oi... I didn't think I'd ever have to say this to you brother, but cut it out!​

Upon noticing both brothers scattering into the forest and concealing their presence, Mathias couldn't help but smile as he awaited their assault. Without their knowledge, Mathias released his chakra outwards in the form of a spherical barrier, allowing him to sense anything within a medium range radius. Mathias smirked as he easily pin-pointed their location. What will I do? Don't be funny boys. Mathias answered with amusement. Upon sensing one of the brothers nearing his location from his flank, Mathias simply stayed still as if he was not aware of the situation. "Is he trying to use the silent homicide technique on me? Tsk, tsk.." Mathias thought to himself.

Mathias simply performed the snake hand seal, turning his entire body into a very dark nature as his defensive capabilities increase whilst simultaneously turning his body around. In a simple and fluid motion, Mathias thrusted his left hand forward, grabbing a hold of Usaran's blade with his index finger and thumb, causing the blade to come to a stand still. With a simple gesture, Mathias flicked his wrist to the left, snapping the blade in half, causing the the upper half to wildly fly outwards, scraping the surface of Usaran's left cheek.

Although this technique states long range, it is still required to activate it from a short range reach from the user. This is a very "special" ninjutsu technique in the sense that it is very similar to a genjutsu. You will start out by releasing your chakra and creating a clone of yourself that has no physical form. Although, to the normal eye it would have. This is done by shaping your chakra into the form of yourself, similar to other clone techniques.

Apologies on taking so long to respond, I've been busy in RL and on NB as of lately.

Urasan: Damn, it stings, T_T. Anywho, I didn't expect any less from someone of your caliber...

*After a brief pause to catch their breaths, Urasan and Saki prepare to engage sensei's incoming clone. With distance rapidly decreasing, Urasan silently reaches for a single smoke bomb from his pouch and deftly flings it towards the area just a few feet in front of his current location. With the bomb thrown and now, detonated, Urasan spins himself around (facing the other way) and allows Saki to open a small sack and chuck dozens of makibishi all throughout the clouded the area. A few seconds passing and a small grunt of pain from with the smoke confirms that the brothers' target has now fallen for the trap and so, Urasan quickly leaps into the air and does a back flip to position himself on the other side of the smoke and behind the clone. Whilst in the air, Urasan reaches for the rope given to him by sensei and proceeds to infuse it with his chakra whilst Saki quickly slaps two explosive tags onto it. Upon landing, Urasan hastily wraps the rope around the now wounded clone's body in an attempt to forcefully restrain him. Not wishing to remain so close to the clone, Urasan starts to run away as Saki detonates the two explosive tags attached to the rope tied around the clone...*

Urasan: And just like that... BOOM! *resounding blast of the explosion echoes throughout the immediate vicinity*
Saki: Now... We only have to do one more technique! Let's get it finished so that we may rest.

• It requires no hand-seals and each clone can be made anywhere within short-range.
• The clones can be used as a distraction and wear down the opponent at the same time.

Weak points

• They are not solid so, they cannot injure the opponent. After the enemy's blow phases through, it'll be evident.
  

Combinations-strategies: I'd make several haze clones and have them rush the opponent to make a distraction, in the mean time... I myself would be move to a safe place outside of the enemy's peripheral vision. After all of that has been done, I would use the Hidden Mist jutsu along with Doton: Swamp of the Underworld to catch the enemy.

Ways to counter this technique: One could use Doton: Swamp of the Underworld and observe whether or not any of the antagonistic bodies are actually real, depending on whether or not they sink. Of course, if the opponent happens to be hiding underground... they will find themselves at risk of suffocation. xD

I would like to confirm that Haze Clone is the last technique you learned before I start. Is this correct?

This is how I will train you: I will first post the technique and the describe it in my own words, and then state a few sentences about the usefulness of the technique both offensively and defensively. I would like you to respond by by telling me:

- how you would perform the technique in battle
- how you will use the technique offensively
- how you can defend against the tech
- whether or not you find the technique useful or interesting

I've read Mathias's training in the past as well as what he did in the thread you linked, and I would like to just inform you that my style is much more dense, and relies more on the technical aspect of role-playing through the usage of words. It also definitely won't be as colorful. xD

Description: The user throws a Demon Wind Shuriken towards the enemy and uses his chakra to massively enlarge the shuriken, brutally striking the enemy, sending them flying.

This is a technique where you use your chakra to expand an existing material. It is a basic skill that is required for more advanced jutsu where you are required to materialize solid substance from pure chakra even without something took start as a base, and helps you analyze the material that an object is made up of using your chakra. When you throw the shuriken at your opponent you infuse the shuriken with a large amount of chakra channeled into the shuriken. When the shuriken reaches the appropriate distance you then use your chakra to enlarge the shuriken. You do this by using your chakra to study the make up of the shuriken, then you replicate the make up and produce a large scale version of it. Note that this is how I have theorized it, the true mechanics are unknown, but this makes sense in my eyes. This technique is useful in simple battles but I find no real offensive use other than combining it with wind perhaps. I say this because it can be blocked numerous ways, wind blast, fire blast, earth wall. Basically if it makes common sense, you can use it to block the shuriken.

*Reaching for a single demon wind shuriken, Urasan then infuses it with a substantial amount of chakra before tossing it at an idle enemy. As it approaches its target, the chakra infused within the shuriken begins to mimic the properties of it whilst expanding in such a way as to make the demon wind shuriken now seem much larger.*

Using it offensively:

Should I ever really want to use this technique, I'd likely use it when attempting to distract an opponent and bait them into wasting chakra/focus on it whilst I have a clone prepare a trap of some sort or another. Also, I would channel either wind or lightning-natured chakra through it to enhance its offensive capacity in terms of cutting power .

Defending against it:

As you said, yourself, there are a plethora of ways in which one can either avoid or stop the technique outright.
In most scenarios, it'd likely behoove me to simply use a strong fire or wind technique to overpower it and keep my opponent pressured, at least more so if I had to go on the defense and make some sort of barricade.

Interesting or not:

No, I do not see myself using this technique as it simply too simplistic and just as easy to counter. If I must expend chakra for some function, especially offensively.. there are better alternatives in practically any given situation.​

Since you do not have a summon nor is there a partner. I will be your partner for this jutsu. -creates one shadow clone- Use my shadow to perform the technique with you. Honestly, this technique has no use offensively in battle. This is more of a technique that is used in a battle between two people that are attempting to use low level techniques at high level skill. The technique uses only one hand seal and works on the concept of use chakra manipulation to change the shape of the user's body along with another's temporarily. This enables the user to do sneak attacks and well planned out trick maneuvers. Again, this is not a technique to use in a shoot out. The technique is similar to transformation and the only way to tell if its a transformation by viewing it or by landing a blow on the opponent causing them to time out.

This technique also only require one hand seal. The technique involves using chakra to copy the properties of an object than you are touching then spreading the chakra throughout your body and then making that chakra recreate the same properties as that object allowing you body to become hard as rock as loose are gravel. The technique is no that useful offensively, but can be used to strengthen your punches and physical attacks using your body, because of the tough nature it will possess. The technique is more useful for defense as they can take physical attacks easier by making their body strong or loose like gravel to allow stabbing and piercing techs to go through them. Taking on the properties of rock does make you weaker to lightning.

Yep, not practical for most situations and certainly not in a head-on 1 v. 1.. which most battles tend to be.
As far as surprises go, one might find it more effective to just make clones of one sort or another to create surprises.

Defending against it:

Unless the enemy happens to see the technique in action, then they will only be able to identify what has been done upon striking. That said, most of the attacks directed towards a summoning should still be just as effective, overall.

Interesting or not:

Sure, as a gimmick it's alright. Would I ever use it? It's very unlikely.

Yes, it seems that this technique is best used as a defensive measure or an enhancement for taijutsu.

The safest measure against such a technique is to use a low level lightning attack in close-quarters, when the opponent is likely to have the technique activated.

Interesting or not:

Yes, this technique is quite interesting. Upon cursory inspection, it seems to be a far more well-rounded variation of Earth Release: Earth Spear. The differences, however, are that less chakra is required to use this technique and the user has the option of letting certain attacks pass through them.​

This uses items that you have on your person. The user takes out nails and focuses their chakra into each of the nails. The user then uses that chakra to move the nails underground and cause the nails to rise up underneath the opponent. It is basically moving you chakra with the nails being a medium in between. The technique is very useful to attack your opponent from below for a sneak attack or to attack you opponent while he is underground if you can find it. It can be countered by sensing the nails underground or seeing the opponent put the nails in the ground allowing you to be prepared when the nails come up and giving you an opportunity to avoid or counter.

This technique requires only one hand seal and is a very simply projectile launching attack. The technique requires the user to focus their chakra in their stomach then carefully move their chakra to their mouth. While moving the chakra they condense and sharpen it to take the shape and form of a nail. The user does this precisely so that the chakra does not completely turn into nails half way and then end of piercing you from the inside. This techniques offensively is nothing more than a spray of needles. I cannot counter any elemental attacks other than ones its can pass through like lightning, and to defend against it just use any elemental attack capable of pushing objects; earth, wind, fire, and water. Very easy to counter. More of a distraction based technique or one to combined with wind.

Against an enemy that likes to use earth techniques, especially for mobility/hiding, this technique would actually be quite useful and could seriously wound them if they are careless or unknowing.

A plethora of jutsu can easily counter this technique; wind jutsu could also increase in lethality by reflecting them back.

Not particularly interesting, it's very weak and there are more useful jutsu that cost less chakra and less movement.​
