How does this change that Naruto can dodge Amaterasu, a feat done before by the Raikage.

The Raikage was stopped by Killer Bee, even though he is so fast, and Sasuke's Amaterasu was dodged by the Raikage.

The Raikage was also blasted by Jugo briefly.


And Enton Arrows were blocked by rods.

But your saying that Naruto can't do it, despite having speed feats that surpass the Raikage.

Speed feats so inconsistent that it could literally go either way. Naruto is hit just as often as he is fast enough to dodge.

No he never actually said they would be equal, that's just how everyone interpreted his words when he said that he always keeps the other one in mind when he gives one a upgrade.

He never specifically said that they would be equal.

Edit: Plus there have been many times thoughout the manga where who is stronger changed, its gone back and forth.

Wow. I am sorry he did not literate it in the absolutely perfect grammatical wording desired for you to understand what he was saying. That IS what he said. And that IS what is clearly, CLEARLY implied in the manga in multiple scenes using various symbolism and allusions. I don't get why its so hard to accept? What the hell is the big deal? I am a fan of lots of characters in lots of stories and I don't give a shit at all if they are the strongest character or not. Oh so you are saying that when they were kids they were equal as well, or at the beginning of part 2 when Sasuke remarked about Naruto not being strong enough they were equal.

Like Kakashi said, Naruto saw Sasuke as someone to chase and become as strong as and Sasuke saw Naruto's growth and used that as motivation to get stronger himself. They mastered the tree climbing at the same exact time, Sasuke unlocked his sharingan nearly minutes before Naruto unlocked his fox chakra and used it in combat the first time, their powerups have occurred roughly parallel to each other, their battle at VotE was literally down to the wire, as they stood on the top of Hashirama and Madara's statues respectively. Orochimaru and Obito both commented on the parallels between Naruto and Sasuke and hoped to see a fight between the two of them. I don't get what the hell the problem is with you fanboys. Just calm the hell down and enjoy the damn manga for what it is. I'm sorry the writers don't agree with your fanboy beliefs.

Not using does not equal not having, he just hasn't been in a position to use it. For instance whens the last time you saw Sasuke you Chidori, yet he still has it.

Running fast isn't useful in every situation, for instance if he tried to blitz Obito it would be pointless because of Kamui, or now because Obito is faster.

Another good example is Madara, even if he did there isn't much he can do, Madara could absorb anything Naruto throws at him and Taijutsu is suicide against Madara with Susanoo.

Edit: Also I think it burns his chakra up faster when he is moving at high speeds, that's why he seems so inconsistent with it.

- He powered out of his Kyuubi Mode and its not that he couldn't react to the third raikage... he can but he needed to put himself in a position to rush raikage and make him get hit with his own attack which required Sm to do just for that occasion.
-He did actually hit Obito twice in that fight and I'm not talking about when Kakashi helped him but you are right about Madara but then again didn't Madara react to Raikage too?
