Actually everyone's wrong. This eye already represents the sharingan. The swirl is there to show the hypnotizing effect of the sharingan. "Think ofutside the norm".

I agree with the gerkak dude,naruto should develop more with the power he already has. there is hardly any uniqueness in the narutoverse except few,for instance most people possess the sharingan and mokuton because they infused it into their body, unlike some ninja that are unique and hardworking.examples=minato,naruto,hashirama,sasuke,sakumo,jiraiya and so on.they reached out and got their power.
