See I have been getting into the Uchiha and Senju and the whole creation and the will of fire. I have noticed that unlike Madara, who hated the Senju, and Tobirama, who was no 100% trusty of the Uchiha, Hashirama actually admired the opposition. Now most of you will say "oh your being a fanboy.." ... or other will troll " Naw duh" ( Even though they never thought of this). But lets get into why i'm claiming so.
With the above proving that Hashirama had strong feelings towards the Uchiha. Now lets see the connection of the Uchiha and Hashirama:
"Will of fire".... idk if you know this, but the Uchiha name symbolizes fire, and that is the main affinity for most of the Uchiha. And its a mere coincidence that Hashirama called it the "will of fire". And coincidintly had a throne with a symbol of fire? I don't think so.
Uchiha were most loyal clan, hence why I believe Hashirama regarded them the highest. Hashirama's famous quote that is overlooked in regards to Hokage.
"The fellow countrymen of the Konoha make up each part of my body… those of the village believe in me, and I believe in them… That's what it means to be Hokage!"
Who was the only Hokage who was chosen by the Uchiha clan also? Hashirama.... mere coincidence?
Whose " I can't take injustice, so we should change the corrupt system" attitude did the Uchiha clan develop? Hashirama's...
Most people will now complain about the Uchiha clan saying "They were going to cause war and kill"..... highly false. They even respected the Hokage.
POINT : HASHIRAMA WAS INSPIRED BY THE UCHIHA , AND THE FOUNDATION OF THE VILLAGE IN REGARDS TO BELIEFS IS ALSO PARTLY UCHIHA INSPIRED.
Tobirama and Hashirama
As clearly seen , Hashirama defends the Uchiha, when Tobirama pretends like they were born traitors or w.e. Also in their little quarrel , we get to understand what the difference between the 2 brothers is. The older believes the people of the village are the point, as in the people are keeping the village together. While the younger focuses on the physical aspect of the village, as in village is keeping the people together.
The above aspect is later on applied, when Tobirama's way of taking care of the Uchiha was to put them in a surveillance, even though he himself said the Uchiha were the most loyal to the village, but his cautiousness of another Madara rising led him to put the physical village over the people of the village.
Though Hashirama's way of dealing with this risk that Tobirama spoke of was understanding, reason why he suggest Madara for the Hokage title. (If that would've happened it would've worked fine for the shinobi world.)
