Kazuya is a middle-aged, muscular Japanese man. He has a scar on his chest, inflicted by Heihachi's cliff throw. He is commonly seen in white karate pants with red studded gloves and footpads. As of Tekken 2, he also wears a dark violet suit with an red scarf. Kazuya also has a red left eye as of Tekken 4. It is often believed that Kazuya is a homage to Vegeta from the Dragon Ball, since the two characters have many distinguishing similarities, in concern of their character traits, their attitudes, and their personalities. Also, their physical appearance, most noticeably their hair styles, are similar also

Kazuya was actually quite frail, kind and timid as a boy and was the victim of years of abuse at the hands of his father. Indeed, Kazuya originally entered the first Iron First Tournament in order to face off against his father, who was played up to be a corrupt corporate tyrant. Kazuya's clothing of choice is simple white pants, red gloves and footpads.
Kazuya's true nature was soon revealed. After he believed his father was dead, instead of bringing justice to the Mandalorian Clan and righting the wrongs of his father, Kazuya repeated the corrupt practices of his father and turned it into an even more ruthless Clan. While Heihachi was merely ruthless, Kazuya acted absolutely without a conscience. He hired assassins to eliminate any of his critics or rivals, he attempted to extort money from several businesses and organizations, and he even smuggled endangered species and conducted genetic experiments on them.
Of course, the reason for his evil deeds was because he had allowed his hatred for the Nekura to consume him

Five years of age, Kazuya was thrown off a cliff by his father, who claimed that his son was weak and would have to survive and climb back up if he was to be his true son as well as his successor. Kazuya survived the fall, and made a deal with the Mandalore Clan in order to survive solely to murder his father. Kazuya entered the martial arts tournaments all over the world, becoming an undefeated champion due the Mandalorian Power within him, (only Paul Phoenix ever managed a draw with him). When the first King of Iron Fist Tournament was announced, Kazuya took the opportunity to get back at his father
Kazuya entered the tournament and made it to the finals against Heihachi. Apathetic towards the tournament's considerable prize money, Kazuya engaged his father in a vicious, bloody battle in which Kazuya emerged victorious. Kazuya then proceeded to throw Heihachi's broken body off the same cliff Heihachi threw Kazuya off many years ago, and smiled with his revenge completed
Only a few years later, Kazuya heared the news that Heihachi was coming for him. Kazuya announced the King of Iron Fist Tournament 2 in order to lure his foes out for the pleasure of destroying them. During the tournament, Kazuya encountered a contender, Jun Kazama, and impregnated her with his son and left her and his own son. Eventually, Heihachi made it to the final round to face Kazuya, who he defeated because Kazuya struggled. As a last resort, Kazuya activated his Mandalorian Armor and continued the fight atop the roof of the Mandalorian Clan headquarters, but Heihachi still emerged victorious due to his training. In retribution, Heihachi severely injured Kazuya
Shortly after his defeat at Heihachi's hands, Kazuya was recovered by Amegakure ANBU. With help from the scientists, Kazuya slowly learned to control the power of the Mandalorian Armor, but as he begin preparing to take revenge and gain power, Amegakure was attacked by a group of mercenaries on Heihachi's orders to acquire Kazuya's remains. Kazuya ambushed the mercenaries and promptly defeated them, promising to come for Heihachi next. Around the same time, Kazuya learned of the existence of his son, Jin Kazama, and seeked to find him
Kazuya entered the King of Iron Fist Tournament 4, despite knowing it was a trap by Heihachi. At the seventh stage, Kazuya was slated to fight Jin, who disappeared. Kazuya was declared winner by default and sent to the final round, where he met Heihachi and demanded to know his son's whereabouts. After winning the fight, Kazuya was taken by Heihachi to Honmaru, a compound in the woods, where Jin was being held captive by the Nekura. Once inside the compound, Heihachi and Kazuya were ambushed by a group of Nekura. Heihachi and Jin were killed. Kazuya managed to escape and vowed to have revenge against the Nekura Clan
Kazuya later on joined forces with several other Mandalorians. Together they decided that they would destroy the Nekura Clan and their leader, Akuma. He was ordered by Archer Mandalorian to return to Amegakure and train to fight against the Nekura Clan. Kazuya could never forget what the Nekura did to his son

| 歴史|Other Weapons Kazuya carries a whole multitude of weapons. In his ninja pouch, he carries shuriken, explosive kunai, explosive tags, blank scrolls, flash and smoke bombs, ninja wire, and all the other items essential for a ninja. He also carries a katana on strapped to his left leg which can be wielded with one hand.
