Was watching some past episodes and was just wishing that the animation would go back to how it was years ago like early shippuden times like episode 120 below

The first temari image is from cannon animation, episode 321. It is not an original scene but that was the animation used for the whole episode.

5 kage summit arc was perfect for shippuden. If only it could remain at that standard, it's such a shame

Meh, to me the standard basic animation is good enough. It's not 'absolute shit' imo. Sure it's not the best around but I feel like some people overreact a bit.

The pics you've shown was one from Kakashi Gaiden, which had very good animation overall because it was important, likewise for the Kage Summit. Previous episode wasn't that important imo except for Madara revealing himself and it would've been weird to give great animation just for that small part of the episode.

Hunt for Itachi arc and Hidan and Kakuzu arc had the best animation in Shippuuden. Also, most of the scenes during Sasori vs. Sakura & Chiyo were not half bad either.

You know that there were more than 10 animators who work in a certain anime and per episodes right?
So changes are not avoidable.
And also it's depend on the budget they have.

But yeah I like to watch Anime with Visually pleasing Animation .=D

Yh not great animation but at least good animation look at the difference between the two temari's.

Yh there was kakashi gaiden and 5 kage summit which where important but for the whole of the 5 kage summit arc had good animation the war arc is also important so for this to be there standard animation is quite poor.

The 5 kage summit arc was even a build up for this arc, it has to be a budget problem or something as the post above mentioned.
