I never said it had chakra in it... I understand how mokuton is formed. If, however, the mokuton is being drained while being grown, the chakra will be absorbed, thus resulting in a shriveled up tree(as though it was deprived of water). The outcome being a tree nonetheless.

Mokuton along with all other trees grow at the root. The root is where the chakra (due to Hashirama's chakra carrying his powerful life force), the source of its life, is located so how exactly is touching the tree going to deprive of it the chakra that is nonexistent inside it?

Not to mention most Mokuton techniques grow and then that's it, they don't keep growing so what you're saying is invalid.

So you're saying the chakra doesn't travel through the tree... Do you know how a tree works? The roots absorb nutrients(chakra) and deliver it to other parts of the tree... So if Madara is touching the tree while chakra is making it grow, then he is absorbing the chakra being sent to that portion of the tree, via the roots(Hashirama). Chakra is merely the replacement for the water/nutrients. :|

Yang Release Chakra that has life giving properties=/=Life Force. Moot comparison. Who told you that Mokuton was a Yang Release anyway? Yang Release isn't life, and Mokuton isn't chakra, B's cloak is.
