EMS doesn't work with blind eyes?

Sasuke got his EMS by implanting itachi's nearly blind eyes..
Madara got blind and got the eyes of izuna which gave him EMS.. didn't izuna try to implant madara's eyes.. Or is blind blind.. it will only become eternal if there's a little spark of light left?

I think izuna could have got someone else's sharingan but he would have to unlock ms then ems again. Meaning have to challenge the bro he just gave his eyes.

What are you trying to say? ... I thought you have to transition into blindness to reach EMS or no? Not necessarily. You have to awaken Mangekyou Sharingan. Blindness just comes with the price. EMS eliminates the blindness effects upon awakening.

I thought i was pretty clear.. you gain MS by a traumatic event or whatever (used to be, kill your best friend).. and EMS you get by implanting the eyes of your brother, i suppose after you've obtained MS and possibly your brother needs MS too.. but anyway madara and izuna had MS.. izuna supposedly fought without eyes for a while after he gave his eyes to madara.. so why couldn't he obtain ems by implanting madara's eyes.. ? Why did they just throw madara's eyes in the organic waste bin?

Good point but as the manga showed izuna died of infection, so he could have madaras eyes a still have died.

Izuna was not healthy. He was weaken from Tobimaru's FTG Slash Attach.

because they merged both eyes it's not lik u said that madara first removed his eye and implanted izuna's . .he simply merged izuna's eyes with his thus making izuna full blind

i also want to point out that madara took izunas eyes because izuna was dying not because he was going blind, jus another obito lie, or misinformation depending where itachi got the info. im assuming obito though.

How blind the eyes are onces trasnplanted is irrelevant. Look at it this way, if your trying to start a fire and you have some gasoline, does it matter if you have just a tiny spark or a giant fireball, the end result is still going to be same amount of fire as you still have the same amount of gas.

Blind Eye + Blind Eye = EMS
Blind Eye + Good Eye = EMS
Good Eye + Blind Eye = EMS

An Uchiha with MS must obtain another Uchihas Eye that also have MS in order to unlock EMS, the transplant has a higher success rate if the 2 Uchiha are closely related. The Condition of the eye is of no consequence.
