What is wood style? Can Preta Pat absorb it?

From what I've seen, when a debate is made about preta path vs wood style there's 2 explanations of what wood style is used.


1. It's simply wood that Hashirama used his chakra to grow. by using it as a life force.


2. Woods style is simply earth and water style combined.

I think that wood style is water and earth style combined to create wood, then usage of chakra to act as its life force.



Now for Preta path. I think it can absorb it since it's been stated that it is an actual chakra nature, not trees enhanced by chakra. Some would make the argument that you can't absorb a solid object like wood, but think about it, you can't absorb oil either. And yet......

I'd say wood style can be absorbed considering something like oil can as well.

It's a Chakra based attack, meaning that the Gakidō can counter it. If it won't absorb the Wood as a whole, it will at least absorb the Chakra used in the attack, rendering it to a mere dead wood.

mokuton is KKG created by water chakra and earth chakra being combined together giving mokuton.

mokuton can still be controlled like gaara's sand, since he is infusing his chakra with it and controls it at will.

conclusion= its made of chakra so preta can absorb it.

Pain or rinnegan can't absorbe it .......! why.....?

I'd also like to note that the tremendous life force carried by Hashirama's cells is what allows Mokuton to be used in the first place, that's where Mokuton's life comes from. That's why Hashirama's cells are needed. That's why Hashirama's chakra is powerful enough to stop Obito's eyes from deteriorating and why it allows KA to be used twice a day.



Mokuton has shown to be living, multiple times in the manga.

Yang chakra is known for its life giving properties. This is Yang chakra's effect on Mokuton.

If Mokuton weren't living, then that wouldn't be possible, why would Yang Chakra have this effect on something that is just Earth Release+Water Release? Can Preta absorb living things? No. So nothing would be absorbed at all.
