Good thread and all but I think you've taken Naruto vs Sasuke finale for granted when the relation is
BM Naruto has already shown feats comparable to PSS Madara heck there are fields in which BM Naruto is ahead of PSS Madara. WE know that the highest height that Sasuke could ever achieve is still beneath VOTE EMS Madara but BM Naruto is already closer to him, if he gets other half then technically his power is doubled U_U
However Naruto has something big for him in the store, he's opponent is Juubito! The Evil Sage whereas Naruto is supposed to be the reincarnation of Rikudou.

Sasuke is not the final boss Obito is. Obito has planned for more than 16 years has traveled through Shinobi universe, controlled nations for his plans to come the fruition, he even became the same as the sage [Edo Madara confirmed] Mianto thought him as the harbinger of disaster! And he wants to end this Shinobi System not change it! Whereas Sasuke's decesion was made up like an hour ago, he isn's the final boss!
Also I dunno why people think that Sasuke would surpass Madara who warred for all him Life, uncovered all the truths, has extensive knowledge on all things and was born with the greatest chakra even among the Uchiha

Also You should know better, Itachi's statements can not be taken seriously since he never knew the "REAL" Madara all he ever knew was a Fake Madara who was a shell of his former self, a Madara that lost to Yondiame Hokage and not the Madara who fought Map-Changing life threatening battle @ VOTE with Senju Hashirama.
