this is the biggest issue with NB users!! Nothing against you, but users often discredit something because they can't "see" it happening. Why? Because of character portrayal, rather than obvious advantages presented in front of you?!?! I never understood this

Doesn't matter. Neji was literally the perfect match-up to defeat Kidomaru.

Kidomaru's armour is basically metal and thus all a scythe would do against it is maybe scratch it.

The Sound Four fought them in Leven 2 of the Curse Mark and barely won. Remember it was Four VS Two, and ever one of the the Sound Four was using the Leven 2 of the Curse Mark.

If it was One VS One, they would have won, meaning, Genma or Raidō could have taken each one of them One Vs One. Plus, because of this fight Neji, Chōji, Shikamaru and Kiba won their fights with the Sound Four.

Now, Hidan, a S-Rank Criminal, who took down Asuma and we saw what he did to Kakashi in Taijutsu. . . being defeated by Kidōmaru. . . ? hmm

Also you're just going by rank and portrayal alone. If you can genuinely think of a way Hidan's scythe can crack the golden metal armour and then think of a way he can survive summonings, flying projectiles, Kidomaru's huge webs and his speedy makeshift blades then you can use that argument.

doesn't change the perfect matchup. Genma and Raido have more up their sleeves than one scythe. Hidan cannot touch Kidomaru, this doesn't change that at all

You're just going by their presentation in the manga alone when really when you pair them up one clearly negates the other.

Again. So what if he's fast. With Asuma he got cut up. It's Kakazu that bailed him out. Considering Hidan has literally nothing to hit Kidomaru with, it's only a matter of time until he flips into a web, gets shot by a projectile, gets sliced up or taken out by the spiders.

That's only due to representation. Hidan and Kakazu were featured in an arc where there were fewer enemies so they needed to have more presence and threat, pair them up and it's a bad matchup.

Chunnin level ninja with jounin level jutsu. It'd still happen if nobody can come up with a way around the armour and Kidomaru's huge array of jutsu that seem to be perfectly suited against Hidan.
