Of the listed Danzo and Hiruzen was the most interesting!

They were actually friends, but had polar views...Hiruzen took to the people, and Danzo took to the shadows.

Anyways, I'd say Lee-Neji, or Itachi-Shisui seemed to be the closest friendships.

Though I see it more father daughter....I mean father son like: Zabuza and Haku! If you saw it more like an older and younger brother/friendship I'd go with them.
