[Theory] Rinnegan can be born with and not just awaken

so far from the manga we have 2 methods of getting the rinnegan.

A. Step 1 become juubi jin.
Step 2 Unknown, likely control juubi.
Step 3 Get rinnegan.

B. Step 1 be a uchiha or senju.
Step 2 get the dna you lack, of either an uchiha or senju
Step 3 Go through some sort of extreme suffering/the phase of dying(go through some crazy trauma.)
Step 4 Get rinnegan.

If it was possible to just be born with rinnegan, then obito wouldve been able to unlock rinnegan in his sharingan eye like madara, and madara would also have awakened it immediately uppon implanting hashi dna. But madara had to go through nearly dyeing for him to finally unlock rinnegan. And due to the other stages of unlocking the various sharingans, it must take a trauma greater than killing your closest friend, to unlock(ie dying)

Madara knew obito had the POTENTIAL to unlock rinnegan in his sharingan eye, but obito never went through that trauma so he thus had to get rinnegan from nagato(who got it from madara).

it is possible the sage was born with the rinnegan, but very unlikely. Sir derp obito explained some good reasons why the sage wasnt born with rinnegan.

The source of the Rinnegan can be no other than the Juubi itself, which is the source of all Chakra and the progenitor of the world:

The Rinnegan, which is the Doujutsu that is able to use all Ninjutsu must logically come from the Juubi which is the source of all Chakra that fuels Ninjutsu.

The Rinnegan literally translates as the Eye of Samsara, aka the Eye of Suffering.

The Rikudou Sennin's suffering is that of containing the Juubi inside himself as its Jinchuuriki:

In Obito's case however, it is the Juubi who is in control of its Jinchuuriki, and not the other way around:

If the Rikudou Sennin had always had the Rinnegan or was born with the said Doujutsu then it would be called the
Bosatsugan: The Eye Of The Bodhisattva aka the Eye of the Sage/Sennin

If the Rikudou Sennin acquired the Rinnegan through learning, meditation or enlightenment then the Doujutsu would be called the Satorigan: The Eye Of Enlightenment

Would it really matter if it was stated or not since it is kind of a "NO DUH" Moment that it was full powered since the SO6P created all the biju from it and if it wasn't full powered then all the biju would be considerably weaker than they are now.... And it would have been much more easy for the SO6P to do that

He got rinnegan after implanting Hashi DNA after his fight with Hashi ._. So you just messed yourself up >.>

Nagato got an awakened rinnegan from Madara.
Obito's Sharingan changes from 1 tomoe => 2 tomoe => 3 tomoe => MS because that's his original eyes whereas the rinnegan is taken out from Nagato's eyes so they remains rinnegan and does not change to Sharingan.
