If for no other reason because we haven't seen that type of fighting style in a while. I like their strategic and skillful approach as opposed to all the other top ninjas currently involved in this fight right now who are just spewing their S+ rank attacks.

We haven't seen this since like Part 1 up to middle of Part 2 where they were using their wits and minds to fight and not just trying to overpower their opponent. That was the fighting style that first got me into this anime in the first place to be honest. For all of you people who have been complaining about all the fights just being unoriginal and all about the power ups, the second and third hokages should be a welcome change for you.

I really liked Tobirama's move, it was great he had a move especially made for his Edo summonings. I didn't like Hiruzen used a move we've seen him do before but I understand it was to analyze J.J Obito's abilities.

OT: I kind of agree, it's very nostalgic. Though I agree that naruto was kind of dbz'd, I still like the way it is, I enjoy it, but both ways are great.(part 1 fighting and the current fighting)

Well remember, Hiruzen is also the one who realized what the second was doing and told Minato to GTFO, which gave him time to teleport himself and Naruto, Sasuke, and Gamakichi outta there.

Yes they were great but people complaining about how naruto is based on powerups & not real skill anymore really need to go back & reread the 5 kages vs madara, that fight was full of teamwork, analyses & counterattacks, sure it was all in vain but its just proof that kishi hasnt forgotten about the "old" ninja way that people keep claiming doesnt exist anymore.

Ima agree 100 % the fact the tobirama n hiruzen are fighting the way they are . It is also the stratgey type of fighting that got me into naruto

Honestly Tobirama is a freaking war machine! The guy has so many different combat styles. FTG, Edo Tensei, AND Suiton.

I love how his best style hasn't even been shown...just shows how strong he is.

Similarly, Hiruzen is acting in methods to draw out Obito's arsenal...as opposed to a concussive/large scale attack that would effect like Edo Tensei: Infinite Exploding Talisman...he used a piercing/cutting technique and allowed Obito's offense and defense prowess to be shown.


I'm really liking them in action more than others.

his ftg is less refined and has less use, since minato has a much better one, and water release, isnt gonna do much against juubito....whats he gonna do splash him?

I would rather both hiruzen and tobirama use strategic unseen techniques.

But in all honesty water style is one of the worst to attack juubito with. Sooo unless you want to be disappointed, hope for other techniques.

They both go by analyzing the weekenesses of enemy & attacking with their suited attack type/style according to the situation. That is very nicely devised attack based on pure strategy & skills.
