Post Some facts about some of your favorite characters. I'll go first.

Sasori

1: Almost every single one of his attacks are soaked in his special poison, one scratch & you are done for.

2: Sasori actually didn't truly lose to Chiyo & Sakura, he saw through Chiyo's attack but let it hit him anyways. He chose to die.

3: Sasori's True Puppet form is actually sturdier than it looks. Sakura punched through Sasori's entire body which fells into pieces but Sasori can rebuild himself. Meaning that even if the Raikage clobbered him he can rebuild himself to how he was before. (As long as the core isn't struck.)

4: Sasori turned evil due to the Hidden Sand Village's evil custom teachings.

5: Sasori hates waiting because of Granny Chiyo telling him to wait for his parents to come back when she knew they were dead & then he found out the truth.

6: Sasori means "scorpion"

7: Sasori has the same birthday as Kishi.

8: Sasori had one of the longest battle times in the anime — spanning approximately 8 episodes — giving him roughly about three hours of battle screen-time. (Narutowiki)

9: 2 of Sasori's human puppets has Sharingan.


You don't have to do as much as I did but I felt that not a lot is known about Sasori. He's my favorite Character.

Orochimaru being taken out via Susano'o is taken directly from Japanese mythology. The thunder god Susano'o defeated the dragon Yamata-no-Orochi to redeem himself to his brother and sister gods.

Orochimaru's Kusanagi Sword is based off of the real Kusanagi Sword that is one of the Three Imperial Regalia of Japan, along with the Yasakani Magatama and the Yata Shield.

The Sannin were named after the characters of the old Japanese legend "Tales of the Gallant Jiraiya". Jiraiya is a warrior nomad I think, Tsunade is a princess, and they had a friend (I think he was their friend) named Yashagoro. However, Yashagoro fell to 'Snake Magic', became evil, and changed his name to Orochimaru.

Was 91 when he died

Is the oldest character that we know of

Fought and survived a battle with Hashirama,

Is from the village hidden in the waterfalls ..

Was betrayed by his comrades for losing to Hashi, and left his village ..

Kakashi defeated a Weakened Obito. That is true.

I don't think he defeated all the seven swordsman by himself. Although I could be wrong.

Rock Lee and Neji are my faves; so i will give facts and info about them.

-Rock Lee is inspired by Bruce Lee, they even have the same birthday also Bruce suffered from an accident; they also told him he would not walk again, but he overcame it just like Rock Lee.

-"Lotus" which is referred as Lee represents rebirth in Buddhism. "The lotus of Konoha blooms twice" probably refers Lee's comebacks in his fights and life: (Performing hidden lotus, standing up to fight against Gaara, surviving surgery, drunken fist comeback etc...)

-"8 inner gates" are related to 8 Buddhist teachings

-Neji's gentle fist is based on a Chinese martial arts type called "Baguazhang"

-In bagua/8 triagrams there are 4 compass animals to mark each direction (Turtle-Phoenix-Tiger-Dragon), which are the techs that used by Gai (and probably later Lee)

-Neji's forehead seal had been changed into an "X" by animators because it looked like a Swastika and they did not want to cause confusions

-Young genin Rock Lee's attire and hairstyle looked like young Hashirama's; also they both had long haired doujutsu using rivals.

-Neji said Lee that "one day lets fight all out to find out which of our fighting style reigns supreme, but as long as i have black eyes, i won't lose to you", "having black eyes" means being alive here. Although, it was weird that Neji wanting to fight him and saying he won't lose to him as long as he lives.

-After Naruto, Lee was the first k11 member who performed a kinjutsu as a genin.

-Lee -in a way- won the match against Gaara; after Gai interfered, Gaara said "i quit", but Lee kept his fighting stance, so in a way Lee won because he did not retreat unlike Gaara.

-In 2nd databook, Lee had been referred as a "phoenix"

-Lee is the youngest member of team Gai, second youngest is Neji and tenten is older than both (by months)

-Lee graduated from academy with his basic taijutsu skills alone, Gai was not even his master yet he accomplished; also he was alone when he was in the academy

-Neji learned all advanced main family techniques with his efforts and talent alone

-It is unknown how Lee was able to find Naruto's location in Sasuke retrieval arc

-Lee was the only person Neji have shown care (in a way) before he got tnjed by Naruto
