Hiruzen (and others) VS Kakuzu & Hidan

Hidan is one of the best Close combat fighters in Naruto, he cant be killed, has a sure one-shot kill and no one there is smart enough to figure out how Hidans ability and his curse really works, for except Hiruzen but he would probably die first.

Bypassing everything you just said, did you read the OP? Hiruzen's team has full knowledge, not that he needs that to take out Hidan.

Sure if we're talking about a one on one fight, the best Hiruzen can do is draw. But isn't safe to assume a shinobi called "The Professor" is capable of outsmarting Hidan and trapping him in a similar way to Shikamaru?

But still the only opportunity would be the Reaper Death Seal, and the old Hiruzen we know was barely able to use it against Orochimaru, who isnt necessarily physically stronger than Hidan. When Hiruzen uses is directly from the start it would be a draw, but Kakuzu owns the other ones without releasing his hearts

He hasnt used Kagemane yet, so no.

The only reason Hiruzen wasn't capable of completing the jutsu is because he had a sword halfway through his body

. Excluding that he also used the jutsu three times, which was clearly straining his chakra. It won't be as difficult against one opponent.

Kagemane isn't the only way to decapitate and trap an opponent. While I'm not arguing that Kakuzu's team takes this, it just doesn't make sense to say that Hidan can solo.

If Hiruzen has knowledge and can use his Reaper Seal, its a draw against almost everyone in Naruto, there is not much do to against.

Hiruzen is no slouch in CQC, especially with Enma. Also, with Hiruzen having full knowledge in this match-up he simply sends in a clone to preform Reaper Death Seal for him. He doesn't have to get close to use it.
