Finally we are back to canon and I hope it stays that way for quite some time.

The episode was fine but the animation was average at best. Heck, I don't know if was just me but the animation looked kinda slugish during the first few minutes.

Not alot of action but hey, I guess the episode was just to introduce madara. I'm not surprised they kept the same seiyu as obito for madara. I mean, impersonating voices is nothing new, yamato did it when he met kabuto, besides, the voice suits madara very well.

Overall, 4/5 for me.
A good episode but with average animation.

Preview for 322 looks BEAST thought ^^

Okayy!! Nice to be back to cannon. I gave this episode a 3/5 and I seem to be the only one according to the ratings. It's a bit low you would think it would be an automatic 4/5 rating because of the contents of the episode which I agree, but I believe the anime didn't do a great job and did just and ok one.

Madara's arrival was *good* but I feel the anime team didn't make much effort to make naruto's new mode a big surprise. This is the first time they are seeing him like this and they were all like "hey naruto new mode?" and that was it. There wasn't even any music in most scenes where people first saw him. It's like the anime team know we care mostly about Madara and was like yh lets just get this out of the way.

I wanted that epic feeling of this being the first time they are seeing that boy who couldn't even graduate and had no skill at all become this epic shinobi. Imagine when he's in BM "oh naruto you look slightly different" I want people to greatly acknowledge him :'(

But anyway next episode looks AMAZING

_@: Madara turn this war into hell and show them the difference between demi gods and ants, I can't wait!

It's CANON not cannon.

the voice actor for madara is same as obito's .

I agree with you, especially, with Guy and Kakashi's scene I expected Guy to at least show a surprise reaction or be hyperactive, but........... :shy:

Well he was talking with that high pitched voice at first, if he was really putting this all on even the voice that would actually be funny and then he just coughs and talks normally when he is revealed =D

There could me many arguments why. You could say the anime team just needed that epic voice acting so they just went with the masks man but if this is the case that is ridiculous how can you give two people the same voice???

Maybe black zetsu are white zetsu can speak in different voices? or recorded voices as black zetu is madara's will? but all of that is to far fetced its reallly weird to me.

This is exactly what I mean not even one bit surprised, I will re read the manga to see if it was the same as this. But the anime team could of added extra to the scene and music etc..

Yes madara is here but small elements like naruto's growth are smaller things which I still care about, but anyway whats done is done hopefully they will be surprised when they see him in BM :'(

I literally had goosebumps when Madara appeared on that cliff in front of the allied shinobi force. Madara u BADASS! great episode, great suspense, next episode should be epic!

Obito and Madara having the same voice actor isn't really surprising, after all Obito is an expert impersonator who I'm sure could copy his voice.

4/5, great episode. They kinda drag the whole thing (1 chapter = 1 episode), but Madara's entrance was epic. The soundtrack made it even better.
The animation was decent, better than before. Can't wait for next week episode.

When naruto said "so that's what he looks like under the mask" I thought that was a tad dumb because look at the difference in hair?? I know he hasn't seen him since that place in the snow land but damn.

But I guess he could of thought he tied his hair in some way and they do have the same voice -__- so I will let that one go.

Obito pretended to be Madara so I guess he had to copy the voice too......... Just as someone pointed out earlier.
