Sasuke's intention is to erase everyone's memory

let's start by saying that sasuke hates this world, it's a world filled with wars and pain and suffering. and the past is the thing that created this world, more specifically the kages:

sasuke believes he can do better, create a better world then the kages. he wants to end this world and create a new one, and the way to do it is to cast infinite tsukuyomi and erase everyone's memory:

there is also a very big part of the problem that is personal to sasuke, his past team and naruto. i believe sasuke regrets leaving them and the village and regrets opposing naruto. he want's to "erase" his past with naruto and with team 7 and basicly start over.

when sasuke said "not you, i will delete the past" i believe he is talking to obito. obito wants to erase the world and leave nothing after it. he wants to put everyone in a genjutsu world and allow no more future. sasuke on the other hand wants only to erase the mistakes of the past, but allow the world a future.

this still give a reason for naruto and sasuke to fight, because naruto will oppose this idea of sasuke. he will tell sasuke that what happend before is what shaped them to who they are today, and deleting it will erase who they are.

While its an interesting theory, Sasuke already tried to kill the ten tails once so I don't think the Infinite Tsukuyomi is his plan.

if sasuke was for infinite tsukuyomi then why would he not have tried to become the juubi's jinchuriki already, his true intentions still remain hidden i think but are slowly coming out, but personally i would honestly rather see the so6p come into the story before sasuke's character develops

What did he mean by that? Sasuke is implying by Past = Kurama, because Kurama was involved in the attack on the village and lead to the Uchiha massacre, thus he wants to DELETE which would equal = Naruto because he is hosting Kurama and because of the attack, Itachi ended up having to murder the entire Uchiha clan.

Over here, even Juugo doesn't know about what Sasuke's "real goal" is.

yeah i'm not a 100% behind the infinite tsukuyomi thing. but it's hard for me to see another way to delete the past. if people remember all hatered towards each other then the system will just go on.

yes the kages used the bijuus as tools of war but they did more. they created a system that sprung hatered and war. and he want's to erase that system.
