Why Does Sasuke Want to Kill Naruto?

I don't understand. Why would he want to kill the person who cares so much about him. Naruto went through hell and back to try to save him. He tried so hard to get him to come back to the village. Also he begged the Raikage not to kill Sasuke and begging others to save him. How can Sasuke think he'll become Hokage, when he doesn't care what people think and he will try to kill the Leaf's hero? Him trying to kill Naruto is basically betraying the village. Also I want to know why he doesn't want Obito to kill him, when he wants Naruto dead. Sorry, lastly what will he achieve by trying to kill Naruto? He won't get a chance at Hokage; he'll get kicked out or he might get he death penalty(execution for treason) if he gets back into the village.

Yes, this is another possibility. Kishimoto still has to reveal more of the current Sasuke, not about his actions, but about his mind. This character is still very mysterious.
