There's a difference between being unwise and retarded. Sasuke just isn't good in making decisions that can change him for the better. What's retarded is that you haven't notice that in Part I. Sasuke confirmed to all us that he lives his life based on revenge itself.
He wants the leaf to pay for his brother
He wants to protect the leaf so his brothers work didnt go in vain
He wants to become hokage against everyones will
He wants to destroy this system of things (all the villages and way the current world works) and i guess change it to His way
He wants naruto to die still but wants to do it himself
He wants to still destroy his past like he did when he was against the village so that includes (naruto, sakura, kakashi, leaf peers, ect.)
He just keep contradicting himself every other issue. lol wth im surprised hes not on madaras side. so far from what i am getting he wants to wipe out the village and make a new one and call it the leaf and be the leader of that village with everyone dead and just new people, then take over the other villages one by one till the entire system is gone and hes a dictator over the whole thing making a giant itachi statue and having everyone worship it. lol
