[RANT] Manga just seems to drag on..

I know i will probably recieve alot of criticism for posting this but i just need to get this off my chest. Regarding the current war arc and progression.

i just think this whole thing is being dragged out. this arc has lasted over a year (maybe year and a half, maybe longer, i cant remember) with only one or two noteworthy fatalities (Neji, and Shikamaru and Shinos fathers...). Over this time we have also had some revelations however we have to admit the pacing is so slow, always some new skill, method, ability, or character mentioned, then we wait another month to see what it is/does.

am sorry... obviously there are good things happening i.e. Juubito, Sasukes return, Reversal of the RDS at the Uzumaki Temple, The truth about Rin, Tobi being Obito, 10,000 Zetsu, etc etc, however its just taken so long to happen, whilst in the interim we are faced with fodders, flashbacks, and FILLERS (anime).

Where's Orochimaru? Wouldnt it have been better to have shown at least One panel of Oro and co instead of showing a panel of some fodder on the battlefield standing beside Omoi?

An where's Bee?? Why is Sakura standing on a Slug whilst Bee the Eight Tails Jinchuriki is also doing nothing?

And what is Madaras plan? Well... whatever it is... i hope its a good one. We have hardly seen Madara fight in this war, and most of the damage he did (i.e. to the Kages) was done off screen/panel.

Maybe i should't rant eh? Seeing as i am not paying for the Manga... however.. i am a fan and have enjoyed Naruto for many years, right from the beginning, and am entitled to an opinion.

I really hope when Kishi ties all the story together that he gives us something that will remind us of how EPIC this manga can be and why we all follow it so intently. I have hope Lol

One last thing, the best part of the latest Chapter was seeing Sasuke trying to be baddass with his EMS, just to get his face gripped up by Juubito who did Not look impressed being spoken to like that by some kid Lmao

Anyway... Just had to get all this off my chest.

Some members would disagree and say Kishi is rushing it. I just enjoy it for what it is, and so far, I still find the manga entertaining. I've read other mangas too, invested time on them, and read hundreds of chapters and yet I dropped them, because I found them uninspiring. No shounen manga has got me hooked in as I do with Naruto.

i find the manga very interesting but i have to admit there has been fe fatalities. the thing is, none of the main characters(except for neji,shikaku and Hq) have died.

the only thing that bored me was Madara fighting with 5 fodders.

Actually it doesn't seem dragged on at all. Everything is fast paced. The discussiions, the explanations. Everything is done smooth and fast. Although I wish Kishi would give us more pages every week.

I agree with mishi giving more pages.

Dont get me wrong, i love the manga, but i feel this arc is really being stretched. As someone else has said, obviously Kishi is making millions, and will make more millions by the longer he leaves things going. I am not looking for a quick end to the manga either.

i'll explain it like this:

Madara: A long awaited character. Has been revived for a good few months, yet we have not seen him fight. Legendary as he is. The most panel time he got was in flashbacks which is fair enough, however the fact that he has been sitting down this whole time..... sorry but i dont buy...

Orochimaru: Am hoping he gets some panel time because again we have hardly seen him. Even if there had been ONE panel of him and the Kages in the last chapter... they are working within the same timeline afterall.

There are loads of things i AM loving about the manga at the moment so dont get me wrong, but this arc i feel has been the longest of all arcs before this. Wasnt the war arc going on when Naruto Movie 6: Road to Ninja was still just a rumour??

I dont say things to please people, i just say how I feel.

On a plus side two things i said previously have actually begun to transpire:

1. I had always stated that Sasuke had an ulterior motive (had to defend myself when the fanboys went crazy)

2. Was pretty obvious Obito might run into difficulties being Jinchuriki of a power as great as the Juubi (as we saw when his body expanded from the inside because of the Juubis Power, and the fact that he has not fully mastered being a Jinchuriki).
