I'd be both disappointed and sad if Hinata died. I'd be disappointed because Hinata has already "died". Having Kishi kill her off again would be unnecessary, especially with the Neji sacrifice and NaruHina build-up we've had. I'd be sad because she's such a sweet character and one of my favorite females from Naruto!

I highly doubt she'll ever be killed, mainly because of your reasons. But this is just a "What if".
