He's a grey character; he does everything for what he believes will benefit Konoha the most. But he does have his own agenda. Such as letting Pein attack the village and not jumping in.

He's not a villain, nor is he a hero or anti-hero. He's a Grey Wolf; let's leave it at that.

And also during his life time.. he didn't believe in the will of fire.. he disagreed with Shodaime's believes. So he was not a follower of the will of fire until the end.

He was never a follower of the Will of Fire. And that single incident is what makes him grey, imo. There were other instances of him doing what was truly in Konoha's best interest. Such as sending Sai to kill Sasuke, and so many other shady things.

i going to have to agree with the guy with kisame as an avatar, he is grey/gray, he is neutral

he did a lot of good things
he did a lot of bad things

so have i, but i consider myself green, but thats besides the point

Danzou was a great character and imo he should've been the main character or atleast the 5nd hokage.
He did so much for the village yet he just wasnt confidence enough in himself he will make a comeback soon im sure.
