Naruto and Obito paths could've swapped

I know Kishi shown us how Naruto and Sasuke paths could've swapped but I find Obito's fate being a better option than Sasuke. I'll try to show how Naruto and Obito are the same person that went through a different path.

Resemblance

They both have the same hair style. Their silly attitude can be the same as well. Maybe Naruto's behavior when he was young was on another level but we can see some resemblance when Obito find himself in Madara's cavern and the way he acts with his team. Not only that, remember this quote : ''Those that break the rules and regulations are scum. But those who abandon their comrades are worse than scum.'' Of course you do, that's what Obito said to Kakashi. This shows how Obito cares about everyone else and would put his life at the risk to save his comrades just like Naruto. Even after ''dying'', Obito still cared about the villages until he was brainwashed.

They both felt in love with someone that didn't love them back. Obito with Rin and Naruto with Sakura. Althought Sakura completely rejected Naruto on another level compared to rin who was just more attracted by Kakashi, that's not the point, Sakura is sakura. The point is they both felt in love with Naruto/Obito's teammate (rival) Kakashi/Sasuke who were stronger. Obito/Naruto envied their prodigious skills, and so constantly sought to surpass them. They desperately worked really hard to become stronger to prove their worth and beloved by their sensei, comrade and more importantly, Rin/Sakura. Both their efforts usually ended in failure.

We can assume that Obito's parent died when he was young since they were never shown in the flashback. He probably grown without parents and didn't get any parental love just like Naruto. Despite all the problems they already had, we can safely say they both had really sad early life and they felt left out. Maybe Naruto's was worse but it's still a similarity.

Conclusion

They both had the same start yet followed a different path. If Naruto abandoned and let Kurama hatred take over, or even be the one who had to fell into Madara cavern. He would be the villain and Obito would be the one to fight against it. They both had a lot of hatred that made them really vulnerable and easy to manipulate. Naruto resisted longer than Obito which payed off, he started to get accepted steps by steps. Obito let the hatred consume him. The contrary could have happened. At the end of the day, Obito and Naruto are the same. They had the same desires, the same characteristics, the same intention.

- Kakashi himself said that besides his student's rivalry with Sasuke and his one-sided feelings for a female peer, Naruto shared other beliefs Obito had.

- Obito never had the chance to tell Rin he loved her. Naruto is still insecure to admit it.

- Naruto vs Sasuke is bs, Naruto vs Obito is the real sht.

Hell, Naruto would have been right with Obito would it not been for Iruka manning up and confiding in him his similarities and treating him like a brother. As terrible as it may sound, Hinata would have just sped up the process back then, as she would have been punished for communicating with "The Fox Demon Kid".

95% of the new threads are old news. This is just something that's getting more than obvious despite the flashbacks in chapter 636 and the fact that Naruto vs Obito is currently heating up. The god is charging at Naruto :O

Lost his mother at a very young age, had pressure on him as a prodigy child, had a father who gained a bad rep and later killed himself (which Kakashi witnessed), had the same superiority complex that Sasuke had/has. If he wasn't so in control over himself and didn't have the 4th or Obito, he would've easily have been overwhelmed.

Iruka could've been very different too as well since his parents died due to the 9 tails attack and could've totally turned his back on Naruto and that would've made Naruto turn out totally different.

My point? A ton of people could have went down that path, you can chalk it up to the Uchiha curse which is why they are easier to place down that path, but he had the same kind of views as Itachi in a sense...and had so many similarities with Naruto, so it's just kinda weird when you think about Obito turning out the way he did.

Yeah I knew some people would get butthurt about it and that's why I actually said that. I wish Naruto vs Sasuke would happen but Kishi is making us believe Naruto is the new SO6P with many hints and he's probably going to become the second full Jin to ever live. Sasuke doesn't stand a chance obviously, even current Naruto stomps him IMO.

A lot of people walk the wrong paths but Obito and Naruto's case is unique because they are the same people.

Naruto has lots of friends & he decided never to give up on anything to protect his comrades and his friends. While Obito gave up very soon. Thats why Naruto is a hero and Obito is a villain.
