So, I just thought I'd start buying some stuff on Amazon (Manga & Hardback novels). I was so excited to find boxsets of DragonBall & DragonBall Z that I quickly bought it without hesitation. Few minutes later.. my excitement was cut short.

AMAZON DOES NOT SHIP TO AUSTRALIA!!!!

I tried ebay. Not new and doesn't come with extra goodies like Amazon. :T_T:

Compared to other countries I've been to (France, USA & Italy) it kinda sucks

it's a common problem with companies like that, internationl shipping is a problem for everyone.

there is a (somewhat costly) solution. there are 3rd party companies that have storage in the US, and you order from them an amazon item, amazon ships to their storage and they ship to your house. the problem is that you will have to pay for the company plus for every shipping (amazon to US storage, US storage to AU storage, AU storage to you), and that sucks.

The only things I have bought from Amazon are textbooks that I needed for uni. It's like one of the cheapest places to buy textbooks from, yet I spent a few hundred dollars for just a couple of textbooks... Still, that is relatively cheap compared to other stores/websites I have seen.

Btw I live in Australia too and yeah, it is a pain in the **** if the item(s) you are seeking cannot be shipped to Australia.
