In chapter 499 naruto's eight-tri grams seal changed when naruto filtered kurama's hatred from his chakra

people have called this the Tori seal because of the tori gates that pinned down kurama but i think it will be called the Fire seal or something like that
Yang-warmth,light,active,the sun,physical,life-force and fire etc.
Yin-cold,dark,the moon,passive,water,spiritual,and death etc.

Yang represents fire;Kishi gets his inspiration from the Legend of the Bijuus mythology,but he has changed it up
in the Legend of the Bijuu mythology it said the reason why the kyuubi was so powerful is because of his fire seal

I dont think Minato has Kurama's yin chakra,yin represents water,and minato looks like he's on fire like naruto.
I think that Minato could use the "Fire Seal"without kurama's yang chakra unlike naruto,except that he has as much yang chakra as Kyuubi chakra mode naruto and the younger son had as much yang chakra if not more as bijuu mode naruto;the seal makes them overflow with life-force
The younger son inherited the sages "body";the sage's body has the same seal design as bijuu mode naruto.Minato's swirl is on his chest instead of his stomach

the younger son also looks like he has a flame-like chakra pattern if the younger son did the "Fire seal"he would look like bijuu mode naruto who looks like the sage of the six path except it would be his own chakra

He didn't seal anything in himself he sealed it in the reaper the same way the third sealed the first and second and its probably still in the reaper

It may not matter to you but if this is true I get to say that I called it
And it's not a bunch of writing it just seems like that because of all the manga pages in spoilers stretch my theory out

I found this interesting =D, altough i can't say that Minato has or has not Yang chakra, the thing is he sealed the chakra with his soul into the Shiky fuujin, and like the gold-silver brothers, he posses the Nine tails chakra..Nice documentation btw:bye:

That's how the rds works hiruzen sealed the first and second the same way

And even though kin and gin were revived with kuramas chakra they ate his meat and their chakra fused together way before they died

i dont think he'll get the fire element i just think that's what his seal might be called

minato only gave naruto the yang chakra

Well written theory though in my opinion it is really unlikely. But it was a nice read. What interested me though is that Naruto's KCM seal is the same as the one Juubito has on his back, not the one that SO6P had. Also, Minato states that Naruto would be able to control the Nine-tails chakra, because he was his son. That seems to imply he had some sort of ability to control Bijuu chakra maybe, though that is really unlikely but explains how he is able to use the chakra cloak without training.
