I think Kishi forgot all that hype he gave him.

i agree, Hiruzen and tobirama need to display their powers. they are severely underrated.

The barrier is a huge chakra taxing technique. When you realise that even descendant of the younger son of SO6P(pure Senju) who were stated to have incredible life force and stamina couldn't hold it and do a lot of shadow clones(Tobirama could only make 2 and was in a "sorry state"), then it's no wonder that old Hiruzen(with chakra level far from his prime) couldn't do much. But now that the barrier isn't active anymore, we'll probably see great things concerning him since it won't be dependant on his chakra reserve anymore

Obivously not his fans made him out to be as a God figure for some reason... Most people was expecting to see him to displaying alot of new jutsu and he hasen't.. Imo not a Hiruzen hater or anything but i already knew he would be useless in this battle his strongest tech is RDS and Nagato can do that with ease basically...

I thought I was the only one who notice. I did not like the fact Kishi place Hurizen in the back while other got the spotlight. He needs to show new feats. I can deal with Hashirama being the God of Shinobi, but at least make it known why Hurizen was also called the God of Shinobi (From my understanding, this statement was mention in the Databooks).

I dont think it was nessecary for him to create clones. I personally thought it was a waste of chakra for tobirama to create clones after hashirama just made 8 of them. Hiruzen (as the genius he is) probally realised that it wasnt nessecary to form clone when 3 of the hokage already had that covered.

He was solo focused on keeping the juubi contained.

It simply means they have more chakra than him in his old state(Tobirama probably has 2 or 3times his chakra in his old state since he barely managed to create 2 and was already in a "sorry state" which is impressive since it was stated that in his prime he had much more chakra).

So i believe Kishimoto was coherant there judging by their respective chakra pool(something that doesn't happen very often), but having more chakra doesn't necessarly mean you're stronger. While maintaining the barrier, he couldn't do much since the barrier took him too much chakra, but now that the barrier isn't active anymore, we'll see

His hype is about to be re-established soon. If you notice even though he stood beside Hashirama and Tobirama, he wasnt shown as getting obliterated by juubito, so i think he's about to go into battle mode.
