i don't care about fights at all, i don't care about who is stronger or who is faster or who is ****ing better. i see people say "plot no jutsu" and "talk no jutsu" like it ruins the show. everytime i see some character make a stupid childish comment or a stupid face i cringe, everytime there is a full chapter with fighting i just rush through it quickly to get to the story parts.

characters in this show has more worth to me then just their strengh or techniques. the world is more complicated then that and appropriatly this series is made more complicated then that. in modern times shows that rely only on cool gimmicks don't live long. sophistication and logical thinking is what gives shows today their edge.

all i want to know is if there is another person here that is like me, that when characters talk you sit down and think and argue and when characters fight you skip through it cause it doesn't matter.

the fights matter but really not that much. one diffrence i found between naruto and other shows like DBZ is do characters have a reason to fight? in DBZ it's all "hurr durr im going to take over the world" with every villian, in here we actully get good reasons like obito and rin or nagato and world peace.

lol i do, but i keep an open mind for any type of art to see if something i like pop up, wether it's manga/anime or comics or video games or western animation. naruto is one of those special cases.

all i want is to hear other people like me that see the other side of naruto, not just the fights and who is stronger.

maybe i should have said it, i only read the manga. i don't watch the anime anymore and i never watched any single naruto movie. the story is just so dumb.

while the fights in the manga are usually left up to the imagination which make it more epic

yeah i kinda get it. the characters in anime always look really cool and the fights are usually the best you will find anywhere. it's ok to like a show for this and i understand it.

what i want is to find other people like me, yeah they are rare but i want to have discussions that are more then just "rofl jubbito is now indestructible tobirama is fodder derp".

The fights are incredibly interesting to me because they're just fun to see, and to gauge the characters' strength against each other is pretty fun and interesting. But yes, the story is just as important, if not more so, as the fighting.

yes but there is always and underlying deeper meaning in this show. naruto doesn't just want to be "stronger". he want's to be hokage, and the idea is not just to be hokage, it is to have people recongize him. and he want's that because he want people to stop hating him. the same with obito, he isn't just evil and want to destory the world, he want to help everyone stop feeling bad and help himself stop feeling bad. and we have an amazing back story to support his decision.

in other anime and manga i found it is always the same, some villian wants to destroy the world just because, and the hero has to be stronger to stop him cause he is good for no reason.

It's not so much of the quality of the animation, but the fighting is inconsistent and slow. They talk more than they fight and it breaks up the action which is annoying. That's why I like the fights in the manga because when you imagine the fights play out it's all action without pause

i dont really care about the fight cause fight in still pics dont really make sense to me.!!
leave it so that anime isnt spoiled too much by the manga.
