What would be the purpose.. (pairing thread)

I just want to say this, just think about it. Yeah. I do okay let me begin:
What would be the purpose of Kishimoto building the pairing NaruHina up, to the point where Hinata is ready to give up her own life just to protect him, then not even have Naruto return her feelings? :|
That's not much right. You can't make a character fall so deeply in love with a guy, and just about does anything for them and then be like " Oh well, he is going to end up the other girl". What is the purpose ?
Why have Hinata be in love with Naruto if they are never going to be together? What is the purpose of Sakura being in love with Sasuke?
I don't know it just seems odd and wrong to have Hinata love Naruto till her death and just be rejected in the end like all she did was nothing.
Besides, Wasn't Hinata suppose to be his love interest/gf from the start? :/
It seems to me Hinata was suppose to be his wifey from the start..

That's what i'm trying to figure out but now its still hard to see where Naruto's feelings stand for sakura, because he had shown them since after the whole fake-fession.

and it's the triangle of love, hinata <3 naruto <3 sakura. if it was as simple as naruto love hinata and vice versa they would probably have babies by now. instead they need to work hard for that love and that what makes it such a better love.

For me i think naruto and sakura will always have this bond together

They are like the older sister and the younger brother .

Sakura doesnt bully naruto and hit him for no reason she act mature to him like his older sis or mother .

But she is so complex i doubt everyone will understand her character they will think she hate him when she dont.
