In the anime i skipped a lot of episodes even canon episodes but i have read the whole manga until this day.

most Hashirama fans haven't read/watched it because it was too boring for them
back than there weren't such epic characters like Madara or Hashirama only weak ugly people like Hiruzen and pre-retcon Senju bros
the only two OP things in part1 were Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu

part 2 may have more OP characters and OP jutsu but part 1 had the better story and character development imo

I don't think Part I had a better story, the only relevant part was Sasuke's defection. The fights were more interesting though, because characters were weaker and brains/endurance counted more.

imo part 1 is better than part 2..but that's just my opinion

agreed, kinda surprised so many responses disliked part 1.

Granted the abilities are WAYYYYYY stronger now but I like and dislike that about part 2. Part 1 I feel had better fights (chunin exam, sasuke retrieval, Oro vs Hiruzen, Zabuza(who I still say if introduced in part 2 would be top 10))

and ninja weapons don't forget when Kunais actually hurt people and were used for more than a distraction or paper bombs(bar Konan how many times were they used in part 2)

Like too many lame flashbacks... same with part 2... so both suck...
All in all though, if you're looking to watch part 1 just watch like the first 100 episodes lol.
I think like episode 60~70 is the chuunin exams naruto vs neji and orochimaru messed up things
Like episode 80~90 is when kisame and itachi fk sht up
I think episode 110~115 is like the 3 sannin fighting

I've read every chapter.

I don't care if it's a filler, I watch Naruto because I like doing it.
