Well that universe would've been completely different if he lived anyways so that's kinda impossible to make a scenario of

Ok think of him being alive & Bulma believed making a time machine was perfect timing before Gohan died & lost his arm because the Androids were wailing on em twice as bad.. Just think on it

I mean future gohan wasn't that strong at all. He has one arm and future trunks greatly surpasses him

That would take out all the fun . Future Trunks was perfect since his younger self was just a baby. Plus, it provided that connection with Vegeta and Bulma. It gave more development to Vegeta's character. Future Gohan would be in tears to see his dad, his master and all his friends again. Him and present Gohan could have defeated Cell together Lol that would have been kinda cool.

Tru thats mainly because Goku died of the heart virus & couldnt train Gohan in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber so he had to go Super Saiyan on his own thus nvr reaching Super Saiyan 2...

Yeah it wouldn't made the characters develop as much with vegeta showing emotion when trunks died and etc

Then, He would have been stonger than future trunks, he would have goku train him unlike with trunks and vegeta, vegeta did not care about trunks but goku would care for future gohan

if gohan went back then itd have to be an alternate timeline where he doesnt confront 17 for the final time. in which case the origial trunks still goes back. anyway if gohan does go back he dies. i dont believe he was anywhere near strong enough to kill mecha freeza

they actually arent. they just never took gohan and trunks seriously enough in the future to go all out so trunks naturally believed they got stronger somehow.
