Kakuzu is a better villain than Obito

Not really. As an overall villain; Kakuzu did little that influenced the entire story or left much of an impact. Is he more evil? Debatable and most likely. But. . Not a better villain. That, and he wasn't expanded that much. He's under the "Good villain" category.

Along with Deidara, Sasori, Kisame, Kabuto, Itachi, Hidan, Zabuza, ETC.

I personally think that Obito, along with Pein/Nagato and Orochimaru are the three best villains in the series and it's truly hard to decide which one of these three are the best. But. . Kakuzu certainly isn't the better villain.

Kakuzu captured 2 tails , 2 tails went into Gedo , Gedo Revived Juubi thanks too all Bijuu (except 8 and 9) being sealed inside ... So basically without Kakuzu, there would be no Juubi

Too bad we learned more about him from the databook than the manga. Kishi dropped the ball on the potential with the immortals duo. They were already going down as some of the best villains in the series, but their back stories could have propelled the manga. I get he wanted to speed up for story reasons, but a plot that great deserves its chance to shine. Could have been a decent lead in to Sasuke killing Oro.

i think the better villain is more like a matter of opinion (i like kakuzu a lot more as a character btw) but, we both know that what drives obito (who i never liked) is more than rin. loosing rin/loved one was simply a trigger to open his eyes to see all bad things around him, and madara came in the picture to use him by giving him the WAY to make these bad things disappear. so actually obito makes a better BIG CONSPIRING villain because of the complexity that surrounds him.

as for kakuzu he is simply a THIEF/HUSTLER/BADD ASS ANCIENT SHINOBI.
