It was not ten times higher then him ... i think your exaggerating its size.. Kishi tends to dis-proportionate things, But anyways he avoids it by throwing a kunai up in the air and then FTG to it ... He knows everything Bunta can do .. so once he sees the oil he throws up the kunai ...

Now that i think of it it really is not that wide at all .. its a bullet of flame that's it .. It goes in a straight line, yes minor flames may spread a little to the left and right but its not wide at all..
