Why do people continuously used power as the sole criteria for a Kage.It the same stupid reason people used to explain why Naruto should be the next Hokage.Being a Kage isn't about being the strongest.It's about who best fits the bill to run a village.Darui understand the running of a village, being the pupil of the Third Raikage and the right hand man of the 4th Raikage.On top of that he's also a strong shinobi;not the strongest, but strong.The same reason why Tsunade was more suitable for the Hokage position then Jiraiya, is the same reason why Darui would become Raikage over Killer B.Brains over brawns, no one selects a President, Prime Minister, or any head of state base on how physically strong they are.If they did, we would all be in serious trouble.

i get all that..but when jiriaiya passed it up he was talking her up about her abilities on the battlefield and that no one can come close to her sucess at the ninja war. but your right it takes brains to do it as well. im just saying power have to be included as well. and Bee actually have the mental power because he can also consult with the tail beast and so can naruto. Kahkashi gave up being commander when he saw that the 9 tails had a better ability of grasping the situation.

So you are saying we should let Tail Beasts run shinobi village now? And the tail beast grasp the situation because they have been in said situation before seeing as they used to be the Juubi.Also, Jiraiya clearly stated in the manga that "Tsunade had the brains for it".So saying he talked up her abilitieson the battlefield is only half of the truth.But i'm glad you brought up whatJiraiya said because it proves my point Brilliantly;A Kage needs strength, but he also should be intelligent.
