Obviously the excitement of going to war would be deteriorated, considering it's not the war arc anymore. Do you not keep up with the arcs? Plus, you saw how Hashi/Tobi-rama made clones and said that's all they could do, because they were holding up the barrier.

Guys, before pulling the trigger, you might want to read the whole context first. He is not saying that the current Gokage (five hokages, if you people still don't know the definition) is better and more powerful than the 4 powerful Hokages. Hashirama is an overwhelming power to the Narutoverse, we all know that. He is talking about SCREEN TIME. We were all emotionally built up and got excited when the Hokages were revived, heck we were all wowed with Minato's grand entrance. We all waited to see their feats, especially of Tobirama and a Part 2 Hiruzen, but to think that they just sat there and made a barrier and talked 95% of the time? That killed the hype. Even if Madara was toying with the Gokage, they still fought and showed their power and all that. That was what the OP was trying to say.

4 Hokages against the strongest tailed beast Juubi + Obito (MS+Rinnegan+Senju DNA) + Madara (Edo+EMS+Rinnegan+Senju DNA).
