obito is not in control of the juubi. its impossible. last time we saw him speaking he was half dead and exhausted. he cant be in control because he doesnt have enough power to suppress the juubi's power. so thats basically the juubi in a human form. while the ss6 could control the juubi and use it's power at his will, obito cant control it.

Obito was already the Truth even though he lost to Kakashi but I just realized something there are a lot of Chosen Ones in this series

I didn't know that chapter 638 was coming out today. Anyway, it was pretty good. So, Obito was planning to become the Jin from the start(handseals). His appearance is pretty badass and his power is perfect. I feel bad for Hashirama & Tobirama although... Can't wait for next week's chapter.

There wasn't much plot development,but i loved Obito's new design.
Prepare for more deaths in next chapters. It would be a shame if Obito wouldn't kill anyone in this stage.

I think this chapter is four worthy. The art seemed better than normal, though it may just be my fascination with Obito's new form/design. It's really great.
I like that some other characters like Sakura and Hinata get some panel time, and I just love the fact that they're working together to figure out what's going on. I think the shipping wars give off this wierd idea that Sakura and Hinata hate each other and Kishi give us these panels to be like, "look, they're both bad ass and working together...please stop." I also enjoyed the fact that Sasuke had to ask Naruto what was going on, I think it's just a small thing to show how much more perceptive Naruto has gotten.
With all the Kages admitting that he is the strongest it seems to be a set up for him to be the final villian, but I don't really think so. I really think that the "Trump Card" is going to come into play with Madara. There's also that small fact that, you know, Madara has been doing this whole thing sitting down. And that it seems like he's just now starting to stand up. Scary stuff, man.
I predict that the "new kages" are going to show up to help the "old kages" because they could use all the help they could get right now.

From the look of things, Madara is joining this battle by coming against the New Obito. Right now, Obito is the most Dangerous and strongest, but the Juubi is in control nut him.

At first when I read this chapter, I was disappointed. Then I reread it. I found the sixth page awesome. Obito's power is so advanced that the Shodaime Hokage can't defeat him, and it seems Obito has sadly forgotten his name. I hope next chapter will come out on Tuesday too!

I don't think that is the case. I think Obito becoming the ten tails is part of Madara's plan. And if it is not, it works for the plan anyway. He is just concerned that Obito will get too far ahead of him with the plan and mess up what he is planning (the trump card).
