Last week, people thought Obito absorbed the Juubi correct? No seals at all? Thought it was an asspull? Well this chapter explains it quite well. The seals on his hands were different to when Nagato used Rinne Tensei and therefore were the seals he used to seal the Juubi within him.

Don't jump to conclusions before Kishimoto explains them.

It is quite possible he was undergoing the actual technique but through resistance he changed his seals. Nowhere is it said that Rinne Tensei's seals are that much different than the specific seal Obito used (Yet to be named).

It seems that all the threads people were making asking why nobody uses seals to do their jutsus anymore have their answer. Kishimoto just chooses not to explicitly illustrate them every time and waste panels. They're doing them but maybe he'd like to focus on more important things. It's not like it's a new series where it's a new thing for readers to be fascinated about.

Aha, I saw you saying that on another thread. You should have made a thread. I noticed it as well but I decided against making a thread against it because I knew Kishi would use it as an explanation for the sealing.

That would have been an actual plothole =D. For me now, I think Obito is now just the Juubi. Obito was near dead and now the Juubi's vessel. The Juubi probably wants to attack Naruto because he saw him as the reincarnation of Rikudou.

I'm thinking that could be a possibility, I also think that since obito was so weak the juubi just took advantage of that weakness & manifested itself within obito's will. The juubi probably consumed obito with hatred. like how kurama does to naruto, but the real obito is still inside.

Yea, it's kind of reminiscent of Kurama and Naruto (Another parallel). When Naruto was enraged, Kurama took over (Vs Haku, Vs Oro and Vs Deva Pein) and when he was near death (VoTE stabbed by Chidori and the same as Deva Pein albeit less of a chance of dying).
