So basically I barley just got a 2009 hp pavilion s5747c-b And it already has a Graphics card, that has a nvidia one. But heres the thing. The graphics card is ******* disgusting and I just wanted to know if I could upgrade this graphics card into a lets say.. a nvidia 450 graphics card? I was planning on buying the PNY - GeForce GT 630 Graphic Card - 780 MHz Core - 2 GB DDR3 SDRAM - PCI Express 2.0 x16 Or atleast something that can run skyrim and GTA IV will be waiting for a reply... :)

I dont care about the overheating because I will only be playing games for about 1 hour thats it. So no worries about the over heating. Also I will buy a external fan so again no worries. Cya! =D

That should work, just make sure the card itself is compatible with your computer specs.

You might also want to consider upgrading your RAM, as playing Skyrim or GTA IV at high resolutions can slow down or crash your system if you don't have enough memory.
