Kekkei Tota and lava/magnet release can be learned by anyone with 2 or more natures

kekkei genkai's are passed down through bloodlines and shinobis with these kekkei genkais were born into or from a clan who possessed them previously.

kekkei tota's are rare in the shinobi world and only few with certain chakra natures have them, one example is Dust release a combination with earth, wind, and fire. however kekkei totas dont have a blood-relation just like lava release or magnet release.

so my guess is that if a shinobi who has more than 2 or has the right chakra natures for these kekkei genkai's (lava/magnet) or kekkei tota, they can learn them from people who mastered them without any blood relation.

Lava Release and Magnet Release are still Kekkei Genkai, not everyone can learn them. They may not be unique to some Clans like the Ice Release, but not everyone can use them.

Kind of doubt it, most jounin know at least two chakra natures, if it was as simple as that the techniques would be more abundant. What we do know about KG is that it requires the ability to manipulate two elements at the same time and combine them in various proportions, easier said than done. Hidden techniques like those of Sakon and his brother and the other members of the sound five, seem to just be blood related. As was seen when Kabuto infused that crazy elixer of the sound fives blood into his body. On a interesting note KT could just be transfered by touching and implanting the jutsu like we have seen Itachi do on several occasions. It would explain the rarity of this type of technique. Even KG (dojutsu) and the wood element just seem to be baised on a cellular level, and happenstance. Yamato, Danzo, Madara all have the wood release because of harishama's cellular tissues and his mastery/disposition of water and earth. So far anyone with a eye implant hasn't been shown whether or not they can or will pass on the disposition of their KG.

Failure at so many levels.Firstly, there is only one Kekkei tota, that is Dust Release.Lava Release and Magnet Release are Kekkei Genkais.Furthermore, if anyone with two chakra nature could learn a Kekkei Genkai wouldn't there be a lot of Jonin level shinobis with Kekkei Genkais?Just mastering two chakra nature isn't enough to have a Kekkei Genkai.It's pretty obvious genetics play a part in shinobi's with Kekkei Genkais and shinobi without them.

Muu was able to teach Onoki Dust Release because Onoki possessed the bloodline to begin with. Make no mistake about it, Kekkei Tota's are passed down like any other bloodline. They're superior because they rely on the power of three natures instead of two.

Sakon/Ukon and Kimimaro had Kekkei Genkai not Hidden techniques.

Hidden techniques are those like the Hidden Leaf's Nara, Yamanaka, Akimichi, Aburame, Inuzuka and maybe other Clans use. Alos, the Hidden Mist's Hōzuki Clan's techniques are Hidden techniques.

It's heritable trait; the same goes for kekkei genkai. The difference is activation of 3 chakra natures opposed to 2.
