Man, Naruto wants to be Hokage, Luffy wants to find the 'One Piece'
These are their Goals, but I haven't watched One Piece, I'm just telling you what I've heard in the Openings

They´re both quite different though, with One Piece giving a big focus to character development, unlike Naruto. It has a slower pace but it´s definitely worth watching/reading and you´ll lose count of the epic moments it provides

Naruto= awesome ninjas using chakra to fight for their respective villages and a pretty straightforward storyline.
One piece=non stereotypical pirates who are all out on the ocean searching for the greatest treasure in the world.
IMO one piece has a wayyyyyy better story and always keeps pulling your attention in.
Naruto was my favorite show for a looooong time... Until I watched one piece. Now I still can't find an anime that can match up to one piece's awesomeness

Mostly random characters, it started off almost like a kids show so main characters don't start dying until later on in the anime. But yes people get shot in the face, stabbed, blown up, drowned. However you can picture someone dying on a ship it happens

One Piece has more humor in it and the animation and drawing is much more over the top, but its still an excellent series.

Naruto is a bit more serious and has a much faster pace then One Piece.

Edit: Character deaths are pretty rare in One Piece.

Here's what I say, watch the first 5 episodes of one piece and just see what you think about it. I did and I got hooked, no other anime has as much comedy mixed with badass fighting that I've ever seen besides maybe Toriko but even that doesn't quite reach one piece

With the development I was referring more to their backgrounds, ambitions, bonds, etc. There´s a lot of powerful characters though.

And there´s probably fewer meaningful deaths in OP, now that I think about it. Also, the anime is fun as hell, so if you like that, there´s a bonus. The story isn´t rushed, so with time, you start seeing every little thing connect, which is great.

I watched some episodes years ago in CN.In one piece there is guy named luffy like Naruto and he wants to be pirate king.He finds himself a crew..A hot chick Nami the navigator,Zoro guy with a sword and Nico another hot chick uhh I dnt remember anything else..storyline was very good.I suggest to read onepiece wiki.
