In my humble opinion, the original series, until the end of Battle City is the best. After that it kinda went bad.
Personally I think the reason people don't like 5D's which is second to the original is because of the bandwagon of hating the motorbikes, and that's it. The series has a lot more darker undertones than it's predecessors and seems to be generally aimed towards an older audience given Yusei's older age. Also it's not just about card games, Yusei and Jack beat people up with their fists.
I didn't like GX, it felt too schoolish, I suppose. While the others had supernatural themes with shadow realms and dark signers, this was just a school where they learn how to play the game.
I haven't seen Zexal, but I'm not really fond of it, only the XYZ summons.

The Original and Yu-Gi-Oh GX were the best , all others are just repetition of these two and to be honest. I really hate the characters looks especially them hairstyles. Like wtf, this is not Draonball z :erm:
First of all, he mentioned 5D's as his favourite series, he never mentioned anything about it being the best. People should be allowed to express their opinions without being subjected to "you're wrong" like statements.
