How fomidable would Itachi and Kisame fight together if they went all out?

Both have been so formidable they literally can solo without needing each others help but the two together would be an insane team. Kisame has the Samehada as well and insane chakra reserves, powerful water style jutus, and the ability to take on multiple enemies at once without too much difficulty(see kisame vs team gai), itachi on the other hand is a very intelligent genjutsu expect with natural abilities few can match or counter with his sharingan abilities. Take into account we don't know itachis true strength on account of the fact that he faced a lot of konoha ninja who he didn't want to kill because he loves the village(he raped kakashi). Kisame pretty much beat killer bee(the samehada is a *****). Honestly i think the duo could kill the 6 paths of pain.

makes it better they are very unexpected, kisame is a handful as shown by his battles because he can spam enormous water jutsu, itachi can use the distraction to use genjutsu or amaterasu or his sussanoo sword among other techniques. kisame will drain chakra constantly and wear him down as the fight goes on, itachi will land most of the killing moves to the paths. being in the akatsuki i assume they both know something about pain.

also take into account like sasuke and suigetsu, itachi keeps kisame in line and tells him not to kill.

Blah blah, Obito would still win since Obito can only be fought toe to toe by S/T user like Minato.
Besides this is debatable considering Itachi has already admitted inferiority complex toward Obito, but that's another debate that I don't want to go to.

Not entirely sure, but Kisame would have to restrain himself. His Shark Dance would either force Itachi out of the fight or drown him, so he couldn't go all-out with Itachi there.

How would Itachi had done that, exactly? Not give Sasuke a trap Amaterasu? lol.

And Obito could just kill Itachi whenever he wanted.
